Clothes always come back clean and neatly pressed. Unlike some other dry cleaners, we have not had any problems with clothes coming back wrinkled from being stored in overcrowded hanging spaces, or "over cleaned"/damaged by the cleaning process.

When I dropped off the lightly colored and fully lined draperies, I pointed out a small spot that was more than eight years old. They said they would try their best but knew it couldn't be completely erased. They were right, not completely gone, but barely visible, so I was very pleased. Pricing per pleat was very fair. (24 pleats for $60). Also turnaround time was just a few days. Very friendly and professional.

My experience went very well. I was pleased with the outcome of the service and got the spots out. The pricing was very reasonable and I would recommend this company to others.

I love Ednas and go out of my way to use them. Other cleaners had ruined my husband's shirts by over starching and breaking buttons... and even lost articles. I started using Ednas because my church used them for the priests' vestments, which include elaborate trims and embroidery. I can see why!

I have used them about three times for business clothes dry cleaning. I have been happy with the quality of the service and they are extremely well priced.

Spot be gone! All stains were gone even though I expected the major water stain to remain but Edna's was excellent in removing old stains. Definitely will use them again!

Based on other Angie's list reviews, I took a set of custom, fully lined drapes to Ednas to see if they could be saved! The drapes had been soaked from the bottom up and along the side of one panel due to water damage we sustained during Hurricane Sandy. One panel in particular was in pretty bad shape. They both had significant water stains on the bottom. They are a light tan so the stains were very apparent. I typically use a different dry cleaning service in Potomac, but they are quite expensive and I shuddered at what they wanted to charge. I called Edna's and was told their price is based on the number of pleats. Each panel had 22 pleats, so the price would be $66.00 per panel for a total of $132.00. Upon taking the drapes in, I was warned that sometimes water stains will not come out, but I wanted to give it a try. All I can say is -- it looks like I have brand new drapes. All of the stains are completely gone and the drapes look fantastic. They are clean, bright and even smell great! They literally look as good as the first day we hung them. I'm extremely happy with the entire experience at Edna's Cleaners. The staff was friendly and professional. Their prices are posted so no surprises - the cost was well worth it. I will definitely go back there.

I've just moved to the Rockville area and am finding the search for a quality dry cleaner very frustrating. So far, every single one I've tried has done truly horrible things to the collar of the dress shirts, and Edna's was no exception. Basically, they flattened out the front of the collar. It should fold on the natural seam/crease of the shirt, but instead it gets flattened and creased along some other imaginary line with the end result being that the collar does not stand up correctly when the shirt is worn. To be fair, Edna's is not the only one who has done this...they ALL have. Some worse than others. I'd put Edna in the middle of the range of awful to great. They didn't do as bad as some but they still did it.
For what it's worth, the shirt looked fine other than that. But I won't be back, because my husband can't stand having his shirt collars look unprofessional. He says they ruined the shirt. I think he's over stating it, but if you are particular about how your shirt collar is handled, keep looking. Edna's does the same crappy job everyone else seems to so far. We never had this problem in Texas...I don't know what is going wrong but it seems they all borrow from the same and quot;how-toand quot; manual.
My search for quality service for shirts continues...

We looked up drapery cleaners on Angie's list. Edna's was highly recommended and is located close to our house. We packed the kimono as well, and asked to price for cleaning it. When we were given the price ($40) we brought it in to be cleaned as well. We left the drapes and kimono and then had our living room painted. We picked up the drapes and kimono on August 24 and hung them today (August 24) after the paint was dry.

I went to Edna's because I wanted advice on whether I should pursue dry cleaning or machine washing services for this challening stain on a very sensitive (and expensive) down conforter. The staff at Edna's presented the options, risks and likely outcome of both methods and allowed me to choose based on this information. Exactly like they predicted, the down comforter survived machine washing (as in it remained in it's original shape without lumping), was completely free of urine odor, but retained discoloration. I was very satisfied with the outcome.

Edna's Cleaners were professional but friendly, timely and thorough. I plan to use them again for other drapes in my house.

Considering the condition of the comforter, they did a great job. I use them for all my dry cleaning and they have everything ready on schedule, and will often get things earlier if I make a request.

Although the kitchen curtains were quite soiled, Edna's did a nice job of getting most of the stains out. They warned me in advance that they couldn't promise a perfect job.

I chose this dry cleaners based on a previous review which made them sound like a small-town, family-owned business where everyone was friendly and reliable. Since the coat was rather poorly cleaned and I was never smiled at or greeted in a friendly manner by either of the two women working there either at drop off or pick up... I was disappointed. Also, although they advertise that they do alterations, a prospective customer should apparently not expect anything more than minor alterations. I took in two other clothing items, asked for an estimate for the alterations I wanted and was told that those alterations were too complicated and could not be done there. I was surprised, because I had sewed while a teenager and believed that with proper equipment I could have done those alterations myself.

Always wonderful service and good results, customer service (they know their customers), wouldn't go anywhere else.

The Magruders have always told me up front when I would be better off laudering something myself, or when they think the cost of cleaning is too high to warrant it. They have salvaged clothes I would have given up on (red wine on a pair of white dress pants) and everything is ready when promised. It is always nice to do business with people who are honest with you, and the Magruders are lovely people in addition.
