Got an estimate and then took the car in the next day. The paint job looks great. It took three days. No problems. Old car, but blended great. Everyone was great.

My car never looked better.

Our experience with D and D Auto Body was fantastic - they were professional, fast, and the car looks great! We went to 4 places for estimates - D and D was the second lowest, but didn't seem as sketchy as the lowest so we went with them. We received bids ranging from $1100 to $1800 at places in Bethesda and Rockville and D and D was $1150. From the minute we pulled up they were helpful, professional, and honest - we didn't get a vibe like we were getting screwed like at other places. Although I prefer to not bang up my car again, if I do I will definitely go back there and I will recommend D and D to all my friends.

They coordinated directly with my insurance company and the whole process was handled quickly and professionally. The job was done efficiently (they included painting the rear bumper and hood to remove some nicks and scratches in the paint (e.g., they even took off the entire rear bumper, sanded and re-painted). Avak is a great guy (owner), considerate, and professional. His team takes its cues from him and does outstanding work. While it was there I had them re-spray some small chipped areas, hood and the paint job was fabulous even though the car was there for 2 weeks instead of 10 days. Avak and his staff do excellent work at reasonable rates. First-rate in all respects! They do a fantastic job on the paint and repair. I would highly-recommend the shop. They are THE body shop to go to for all of your vehicle’s body work !

A few months ago, I needed to get some bodywork done on my 2007 Mustang. I found Dand D Auto Body Shop on Angie’s List and stopped by for a quote. I met the manager, Avak, a good-natured professional, and an expert at repair work. He is also a fair-minded and honest businessman as well. He gave me an excellent quote for the work which included replacing and painting my lower front bumper and fixing a long dent on my passenger side door. His staff had to properly blend the paint on the side to exactly match the older paint on my vehicle. They did well. In just over 7 days, Dand D my car looking like it just came off the showroom floor. I was quite pleased at the excellent workmanship of the repairs and the fair price. And as an added plus Avak not only had my car washed and polished when I went to pick it up, I found he had the car completely detailed the Mustang inside and out for me. My great car looked fantastic! I could not have been more pleased. One of the best car repair experiences I’ve ever had. Thanks Avak!

D and D bid $307 to do the job compared to the Toyota dealer's parts cost of $300( add another $150 for installation).
In addition, Toyota wanted 2 weeks to get the part in, and Dand D had it in in 2 days.
Fast, simple and well done.
Plus, he only actually charged me $300.
I have had very good experience with D and D before, including
an insurance repair where the insurance company gave me a check for about $600, and Dand D
did the work for about $450.

My overall experience with them was very good. He gave us a break in the amount that we had to pay towards deductible. He also gave my son some very fatherly advice and was very unsolicited. His work was very satisfactory. It is not fancy looking from the outside, but it was a great find.

Job completed efficiently and quickly and also helpful i n other phases such as recommending nearby rental car facility.

So as not to risk an increase in my insurance rate, I wanted to pay out of pocket, and limit the costs. The Dand D owner understood this,
and had no problem with me bringing in a used liftgate and new tail lights that I had bought cheaply on eBay.
Even though the vehicle was old and I didn't expect a perfect repair and paint job, Dand D went the extra mile and did a flawless job. They even saved the original liftgate glass and installed it in the replacement liftgate to preserve my kids' school and Army stickers.
No hassles, no unpleasant surprises. The only surprises were pleasant ones. I was going to sell the Jeep and buy another one, as it has 190,000 miles on it. But the engine is still fine, and Dand D did such a great job on the body work, making it look new, that I decided to hold on to the Jeep, and in so doing saved myself thousands of dollars.
Some might find the shop atmosphere to be a bit gruff, but that's true of most car repair places. Dand D is family-owned and family-friendly. This was my first experience with Dand D, and I plan to bring my second vehicle to them as well, even though the place is a good 40 minutes from where I live. It's well worth the trip.

Overall we were very pleased with the work and would reccommenf them highly.
