About us
In over 30 years worth of projects, both large and small, the clients and their needs have always come first at Cracovia Contracting. Our specialties include major remodeling and renovations, especially bathrooms and kitchens. We also build out finished basements, do interior and exterior carpentry, as well as overhaul ventilation systems. 1. Adding a wall in my bedroom and redoing the tray
ceiling, including repairing ceiling molding as well as floor molding.
2. The added wall in my bedroom enclosed a small
dressing area. This was finished including
repairing ceiling molding as well as floor molding and a ceiling fan was
installed.
3. The door to my bedroom was moved to make room
for the wall. The hardwood floors and
floor moldings were repaired.
4. Moving out the front wall enclosing my laundry closet
to make room for a new washer and dryer.
In addition the door to the laundry closet was replaced.
5. Other minor items.
Darius was my contact throughout the process. He was always prompt and courteous. He made sure he fully understood all my
requirements. The work started and
completed a day ahead of schedule. The
workmen were very courteous. Care was
taken to leave my home as clean as possible considering there the remodeling
included drying wall work, sawing, and sanding.
When Cracovia Contracting was finished it looked as if my
home had been designed the way it was which was perfect. You could not tell the tray ceiling had been
torn up, molding in my bedroom and my upstairs entry had been torn up and so
on. I couldn’t be more pleased with the work.
Darius, the owner of the company, is prompt in doing estimates. He outlines the scope of work in great detail. His team shows up when he says they will be there and they do exactly what they say they will do. Darius remains involved and reachable at all times. Many of his employees are Eastern European. Not to be trite, but they have an "Old World" sense of doing a job. They consider their work a craft and they strive for perfection.
Cracovia does remodeling, renovations and even exterior painting. I am going to use these guys for all our home improvement work in the future. They provide something that you dion't find often: they do exactly what they promise they will do.
