I was told the contract only was the length of my commitment to comcast and had nothing to do with the actual charges. When I originally called I repeated numerous times that the contract locked in my charges for the two year terms of the contract, and I was told yes. Yet my bill was increased over $60. a month. I asked to be released from my contract and I was told that I would have to pay a fee. If Comcast is in breach of contract and practicing "bait and switch" I do no see how they can legally charge a fee for releasing me from my contract. I refused to pay for the over charges for the last two months of overcharges, and they are saying that I am not paying my bill. I fell as if they are bullies and they hustle additional fees out of their customers, despite of a contract.
Description of Work: Comcast Xfinity has OVERCHARGED me a total of $516.00 over the past year. I had a verbal agreement for a $79. bundle and signed a two year contract. My bill came to $131. after several months my bill slowly increased to $195. I discussed the overcharges with numerous customer service members in India, but they were unable to assist me. I asked to have a supervisor return my call, which never happened. I spoke with a person in the escalation in the Sllver Spring office, and a month later I had no reply. I have had numerous problems with my DVR, which has had to be replaced, and now they are charging me for an additional box. They continually increase and add fees.
