Jimmy, the Salesman who visited our home, was very nice to deal with and very responsive but it quickly went down hill after the deposit was paid, as far as getting the final measurements and materials ordered. The Scheduling Manager, Casi, made excuses and was not responsive half the time. Only after having to escalate matters, was my job finally completed.

We had the entire house re-sided and new gutters/trim. Job looks great. In the middle of the work we did have a torrential rain fall and I was afraid that the lining they had put up would not protect my home. I didn't want problems later, mold or whatnot. He did explain later that there were multiple layers protecting my home and I was not at risk. I didn't feel at first my concerns were addressed quickly enough, but he did respond and take care of my fears. I am still finding nails occasion so the clean-up could have been more thorough, but they were knowledgeable and they clearly had the experience to do a good job.

There were 3 different installers (windows/siding/gutters) and all 3 were great.  They arrived on time, as scheduled, completed job in timely manner based on weather conditions and cleaned up after themselves regarding particles from installations.

I would definitely recommend this group.  Well worth the money and it looks great too!

Barry did a great job and it is clear that he and his company is dedicated to providing excellent service throughout to entire process. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend him for additional work in the future. His crew of installers were professional and courteous. I was really amazed that they were able to replace all 8 windows in a single day. We had agreed that I would take care of painting the trim but everything turned out great.
Barry's salesmanship can come across a little strong but he really is a nice guy and he provides a comprehensive book of references which I randomly contacted a number of them with no issues to report. In fact, all gave excellent feedback and were happy to share their experience.
I would also add that Barry's prices are excellent and we made a number of upgrades to the basic vinyl double-hung replacements and ended up with wood-clad new construction windows.

Well, the first scheduled appointment they never showed up and i had to reschedule. They did show up within their window time on the second attempt. They had said when i scheduled appointment that putting in the door and everything only takes at most a couple hours. They has arrived at 10 am and they did not leave until 1030 pm. I am at a loss for what took so long and I never got an answer on that. The next day when I used the door, it seemed not quite right and shaky and called and they came the next day to fine tune it. They stayed for an additional 3 hours to and quot;fixand quot;. Its been a good garage door so far, but i think it needs a tune up again. They do offer a guarantee and lifetime support. So they at least back up their work and if its not right they do everything they can to fix it.

We had an excellent experience. The technicians that installed the windows were experieinced professionals. We got three estimates, but liked the the sales approch from Mr. Barry Robins. He was not a high pressure salesman. A plus for us is that we had already replace two windows ourselves with the same Simonton window he sold. Compared to other companies, their price was reasonable. Another touch we liked is that the window technicians mitered the corners of the exterior capping, which stayed with the traditional look of the neighborhood. If you have an HOA, he will require written approval from the HOA before they begin work, which is a good thing.

I was really happy with them previously so I had them come back. They kept the price that was initially quoted in 2012 which was good. Since they have to come into the house they were really clean. They are professional and were wearing boots. They were efficient and bring enough people to get everything done on the same day. They are really well organized and nice. I was happy with their pricing because I had taken a look at a couple of other places and they were cheaper than some of them. The other big guys around here give a whole lot of extras with the windows but those extras are for making it easy if something goes wrong. It makes it easy for them to repair but I really don't care if they are going to replace the windows if they break because I am not going to be working on them or taking them apart or adjust the springs; so the big guys were a little bit more expensive moreover their thermal value, utility and warranty did not make any sense to me. They could have dipped in cheaper but it was an excellent price. They were very responsive because I had other window treatments on the inside which was taken care by them. They took care to take them down and since the replacement windows were of a different thickness they remounted them all for me so I did not have to go through the whole crazy thing. They were here when they said they would be and knew exactly what they were doing. They explained everything that they needed to. The crew including the workers was fine and I could walk up to any one of them to ask a question.

The crew was very efficient and professional. In general, everything looked great when they were done. The only exception was the bay window, which was missing some sealant on the exterior. We called Champion about that and they fixed it promptly. The windows are attractive, work well, and easy to clean, and the cost was very reasonable compared to the other estimates we obtained. We have been delighted to open up the windows to let in the fresh air. The screens (for lower sash only) look good and work well, too. Also, Barry Robbins was very easy to work with, providing a list--a book, really--of people in the area he's done work for, so we were able to see samples of the work firsthand and talk with neighbors about their experience, which was quite positive.
Just a word of experience to anyone having windows replaced in a house that may have settled: The windows will be installed level with the ground, even if the trim is not. This means that the center window of our bay is not parallel with the window sill; it's off by nearly 3/8and quot; from one end to the other. This has made installing any kind of blinds a challenge, one we haven't solved. Plus, bay window curtain rods don't fit the replacement windows, and tension rods don't hold against the vinyl. This problem does not seem to be specific to Champion. Just something you may want to discuss with your contractor ahead of time, in case this might be a problem, no matter what firm you work with. We have a window shade and blind consultant coming by later this week; if we learn of a solution, I'll be glad to share it.

They were fantastic. They installed 8 replacement windows on the back half of the house and 3 months later we used them for the rest of the house. They also did some trim on the windows. They are really good quality with a great price.

We bargained with them until they said that they would do the entire house for $10000. They did the whole siding with a very high quality siding. The big deal was that their workman was much disciplined, very timely and very helpful. Their price is quite reasonable if you bargain with them. They were very punctual and their professionalism was excellent.

Everything went great. The salesman came to my home. He was very professional and nice. He showed me all my options. I chose the vinyl sliding glass door with efficiency panes. It took about 6 weeks for the doors to arrive. The company called me to set up an appointment. They installers showed up on time, took out the old door, framed in the new one, insulated it and showed me how to work it. They took the old door and cleaned up after themselves. Very nice and very professional. I love my new door and it has made a big difference in the basement with the cold!

Their prices were a little high, but their service was really good; so that's why I decided to go with them. I definitely have positive experience with them. They started around November. I didn't have anything to compare. The other quotes were rather lower, but they didn't really get into the specifics on what they were going to do; so that's why I went with Champion. I got a good feel for them. They were very good. I wasn't there to see the work done actually, so I don't know how the carpentry work was done. It seems fine though and I have no complaints. They did a good work. There were a couple of times where they weren't available when I needed, but they were available for most of the times.

Gregg Schwartz was very responsive and patient. The Installation Manager was not as quick to respond. There was confusion over what we wanted done with the pallasters and we wish we had gotten in writing exactly what we wanted done with those. The installation crew was outstanding-- worked very hard in extreme heat, were very detailed, and were very courteous. We are very happy with the quality of the product and the professionalism of the crew that did the work.

Our 40 year old townhouse was in need of upgrades and repairs. We met up with representatives from the Champion company at a local Home Show Expo. They were nice and seemed very professional and they could do all the jobs we needed done. Since we had to get approvals from our Home Owners Association before we could get started that was a slight delay. But once we made all the decisions about color and materials and got our approvals and the county permit for the deck it was smooth sailing. We were told it takes about 8-12 weeks to get the doors since they are all custom built so we figured we would have everything done in July. We were happily surprised to have the deck, siding m gutters and doors all completed much earlier.
They have a different crew for each type of job and they are specialists in their tasks. All of the workers were friendly, experienced and showed up right on time each day. If we had any questions or concerns they were happy to work with us.
The deck was done first and Freddy and Ronnie dig a great job and spent extra effort digging holes for the concrete footers doing even more than the county codes require. We had the county inspector visit three times during the process to make sure everything is sound and secure. We now have a solid, beautiful wood deck that should last many years.
The siding, gutters and downspouts were installed next and that took about 1 1/2 days. That job went very quickly. First they apply the insulation to the house exterior and then add the vinyl siding. Our house has an ornamental iron grill that needed to be painted to match the siding. They removed it for us. I painted it and when it was dry, the workers remounted it on the house for us.The next day the doors and sliding glass door arrived and all was installed in half a day. They really look nice and are very well built.
It was a pleasure working with Champion. The sales reps and sales manager and all of the workers were great and we would definitely recommend them to others . We will be calling them to upgrade our windows at some point in the future,
Well done, Champion!!
All of the workers were great about cleaning up after completing their jobs which was so appreciated. It was a pleasure working with them.

From start to finish Champion Siding and Windows were no pressure and very helpful. Barry even came back to demonstrate the sample window for my wife (notice he did NOT demand that we both be available at the initial sales call). The post sales process goes something like:

  1. Once you decide upon the exact model and finish they will send someone to make detailed measurements for each window.
  2. Three to four weeks later the windows will be available from the factory (these are all built to specification).
  3. Barry calls you to set the installation date.
  4. Champion sends enough labor to install all windows that same day.
  5. ALL the workers are both people and pet friendly.
  6. They are respectful of your home, and do a great cleanup job.

We obtained three bids and chose to use Champion. The quoted price was in line with another company we considered and more than half that of one of the larger companies that advertises on the radio and via household mailings. We decided to use Champion because we liked that the owner, Barry Robbins, didn't try to oversell us product we weren't interested in. We also appreciated that he uses just two workers who have worked for him for several years.

Overall, the job went very well. Barry's crew started work a few days sooner than originally anticipated. The first day on the job, Barry completed a thorough walk through to discuss the specifics of the job and address areas where we needed to make decisions. It took about 3 weeks to complete the entire job, but we viewed that as positive. Rather than rush through things, his men took their time, paid attention to detail, and were careful to clean up after themselves. English is not the first language for either of Barry's workers and we did encounter a few small things that were done differently than requested. Our sense is that this was probably a result of miscommunication and/or a language barrier. We brought the problems to Barry's attention and he fixed them without incident.

The previous siding was not installed properly which caused water to seep behind it and cause significant rotting around the window frames. Before starting the job, Barry indicated that once the old siding had been removed and he could assess the true extent of the problem, he might need to charge extra to replace the wood. The extra cost wound up being about $400, which we thought was extremely fair for the labor and materials. We were extremely pleased with this aspect of the job. Mr. Lee, the main worker, painstakingly fit new pieces to replace the rotten sections.

The new siding looks great and we have received many compliments on the improved appearance of our house. We appreciated that Barry left us with extra caulk and siding should we need it for future repairs. The only negative aspect of our experience occurred several months after the job was complete. After some heavy rains last spring we noticed that one of the gutters wasn't draining properly. It wasn't until two or three months after we first contacted Barry that he addressed the gutter problem, and only after several e-mails and phone calls. As it turned out, we had to have him return for a different issue unrelated to the initial installation at which time he also took care of the gutter.

They did a really super job. I think we had to make one little follow-up call, but that was it. Everything was fine overall. My husband liked the quality of their product and their customer service. They were not the cheapest, but were competitively priced. We spent a lot with them.
