CertaPro Painters® of Rockville

We contracted with this firm based on some recommendations we had received. The job was to paint the vinyl siding on the house. The crew's performance and friendly attitude were so good we added more work to the job. The bizarre weather of last month made the project take more time than it otherwise would, but we didn't mind the delay at all. We'd hire them again in a second.

We were very pleased with the job they did and the care that was taken in our house. I highly recommend them, especially because Dan is such a decent guy and he didn't consider the job finished until we were completely satisfied.

From the estimator to the work they were great to work with.  Fast, on time and very good quality work.  I am exceptionally pleased with the company from start to finish.  In terms of work performed they painted walls, trim, doors, ceilings and closets inside and out.  They prepped the surfaces and put on two coats on all surfaces in a day.  We are getting the carpets replaced so went the extra mile and trimmed 4 inches of carpet from the molding so they could paint to the floor.  Wow!  These guys are great!

Dan was courteous and prompt with his appointment and was very thorough in his assessment of what needed to be done to repair the exterior of our home.  The crew was like a swarm that came over to the house and made it new again.  Within a matter of days they repaired the window sills, painted all the exterior trim, windows, garage doors, front door and replaced the front door handle that we hadn't been able to do ourselves because the old handle was stuck.  I will use them again for my repair and/or painting needs.

They were prompt and the work was excellent.  They were like a swarm of worker bees who came and refurbished the outside of our house in two days from start to finish.

Painters arrived on time and started right in with prepping and painting.  Rooms painted were: master bedroom, kitchen, great-room, dining room and hallway.  Both the ceilings and walls were painted.  CertaPro was professional and did a fantastic job.  We will use them again when we paint the downstairs.

Sales representative was responsive and professional, and came to site every day during actual work.  Crew was orderly and completed the painting per schedule.  Quality of the job was good.  I had one question/issue on the prep of the surface at the beginning and the sales rep was responsive and resolved the issue to my satisfaction.

I think the job went very well, and I am completely satisfied with the result.  The foreman of the working crew stayed in close contact and informed me promptly of all changes and additions that were required,.  The resulting repair work (prior to repainting) was carefully and professionally done - a beautiful job.  This is the third time I've had CertaPro paint my external trim, and I would have them back again if necessary.

they were on time, gave a good written estimate and were the most thorough of those we talked to about the work.  workers were on time, did a good job and cleaned up.  they were the highest bidder but only by about $200, and we chose them because they gave us the most confidence about doing the work from the inital evaluation and proposal.

Did a good job at a reasonable price considering the amount of carpentry involved in replacing old wood. Gave good advice on keeping costs under control, punctual and did good cleanup.

They came out to give an estimate within 2 days of being contacted and stuck to the estimate given. The representative who gave us the estimate did a good job of explaining the reasons behind the amount estimated and was able to get his crew there to do the job the next day. The crew arrived on time, was very friendly and worked hard once they were here. The quality of the work was excellent. I would definitely recommend them and will use their services again.

They sent out two painters for the work. I believe they finished the job in one day. They arrived on time for the service and were very professional. I had good luck using their service.

They were very responsive, respectful, not condescending, and the result is perfect.  They  protected the ground from paint and also the shrubs.  Would highly recommend them and will call them again when needed.

they painted interior of my friends townhouse. Originally said it would take 2.5 days, but ended up finishing whole job in one day.
Overall, they did a good job and she said they were responsive, polite and professional.

The painters did a wonderful job when you keep checking on them.  For the price you expect the project manager to at least come by once to see how the painters are doing.  You guessed it, that never happened.  The work was done great and clean.  But at least ask the home owner can I or could you remove the smoke detectors off the screws.  I can't believe what I saw when I moved one after couple of weeks when I needed to change the battery.  They just painted around it, unbelievable.  All they had to do was ask.  If you do use them you have to be on a watch because they don't ask questions or confirmation.  So keep a close eye.

CertaPro did a very good job. At one point there was a small issue that I pointed out, they didn't argue about it, didn't question it, they just apologized and took care of it promptly. They were very nice to deal with. The painters were here every day and got the job done quickly. They not only painted all of the exterior trim, but had to replace a lot of wood on the house as well. I would definitely recommend them.

They were fabulous. They were very attentive to my demands of getting the color match. They were persistent, but professional. The sales person was just really super and  made the job really easy for me. He was like what else can I do and what is the next step. He brought over samples and all this stuff to match to my siding. They paid such good detail when  painting the outside that we also asked them to paint wood trim around windows we had just put in. They did a great job on that too.

A great job.  Showed up when expected and painters paid close attention to detail.  Very neat.  Would definitely use them again.

Original contact was through AngiesList.  Rep came to house within a day of initial contact.  Discussed what was needed and proposal was sent the following day.  As my community is with a Homeowners Association there are restrictions on paint mfg and colors.  At my request CertaPro changed the paint mfg along with color with to avoid problems with the Association, no problems.  Minor delay in actually scheduling an available date as the storm had increased their workload.  Once the date was set the crew arrived on time, very professional, protected shrubs and sidewalk and cleaned up after with no debris left.  Work was completed as proposed and priced as agreed.  Great job..

We are a small church in Gaithersburg with a need to have the church building painted.  This building is on the historic registry and the historic society get to dictate how the work must be done without any finical help. So much for my soapbox, I had several contractors out to bid the job and we chose CertaPro not for price but for their presentation and history with other clients.    The job went very well, on time, clean and the congregation was pleased with the work to the point that some church members have has work done by CertaPro.  Due to the age of our building and a moisture problem in some parts of the church we need have been plagued with peeling paint for years.  CertaPro has been back each year, under warranty, to repair peeling paint and has kept our building looking great.  I have had two smaller jobs done since this work and have used CertaPro for both with the same great results.

They did a great job. Everything turned out wonderful with them. They were very careful and complete. They worked very hard. I would definitely recommend them. The price was fair. I would absolutely use them again.

I have had CertaPro of Rockville at my home now for more than half a dozen different projects:  interior and exterior jobs, painting and wallpapering.  Each job has been professional, thorough, and reasonably priced.  I'm very happy with the quality of all the work that has been performed, and  I would not hesitate to use them for future projects.
