D&W Handyman did a FANTASTIC job on my condo repairs. They installed new backsplash in my kitchen and replaced rotted door frames on three of my doors. Just fantastic work. Great experience. D&W did an excellent job with the painting of two bedrooms. I was most impressed with the care that was taken to protect my furniture and floors. They were neat, timely and very professional. The remodel of my bathroom went extremely well also. The tile on the walls and floor was well done as well as the installation of the vanity, toilet , etc. Mr. Weder and his crew were neat and left the area clean before departing for the day. He also was kind enough to assist me in exchanging a vanity that I purchased but didn't fit the space. I am very pleased with the outcome. Will definitely use D&W again.

I would give 10 stars if it were possible. Our experience with D&W has been by far the best contractor/handyman experience I've ever had. Weder was prompt in returning my inquiry. He was polite and respectful at all stages. Communication was excellent. Weder and his crew arrived every time they were scheduled and if their plans changed (big snow, impossible traffic), he let me know right away. They installed and painted drywall throughout our finished basement, installed new flooring and did general repairs. They finished the work in exactly the number of days predicted. The work is of excellent quality and the prices were fair. I couldn't be more pleased.

Weder and Mishael did an excellent job preparing the house for construction. We didnt have to worry about dust getting everywhere or other rooms being affected. Mishael and his team arrived on time every day and finished on time every day. Everyone wore masks and either took their shoes off or wore booties to cover their shoes. Mishael and his team are very detailed with their work too. Both bathrooms and new linen closets look amazing. Both Mishael and Weder were fast to respond and they got the job done within the timeframe they quoted it would take too.

I contracted with D&W Handyman for the remodeling of my Kitchen and painting of my house. This was the best decision I could have made. Weder and his team did an amazing job with my total kitchen remodeling and the painting of my house. Throughout this project, Weder was very patient, understanding and was very accommodating to my changes and wishes. His team was very polite and professional, and always on time. Both the painting and the kitchen remodel was done to my satisfaction and I plan to use this company for all of my home remodeling project. I already started telling my friends about this company for their home projects. In comparison to other quotes I receive, Weder gave me the most reasonable price and in return I got a kitchen that belongs in a magazine.

Very well. I was very pleased and satisfied with the work that D&W Handyman did in my home. Weder and his team did a great job, from start to finish. From my first conversation with Weder, I found him to be very professional, knowledgeable, fair, honest, responsive and conscientious. He and his team were prompt and respectful of my time. Weder went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the tile accessories and the tile I picked out. He helped me look for flooring for my next project. He made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. He and his team made sure everything was back in place, in working order, and cleaned up after they completed the job. I would not hesitate to hire D&W Handyman again.

We hired D&W to install 1/4" drywall over our very old plaster walls in a 98 year old home. We chose D&W because we were impressed with Weder's professionalism, cost, and apparent experience with this type of project. While we are somewhat satisfied with the final result and the cost was more affordable than others, it is important to be aware of the quality of the job that was done. In summary, the main issues were: 1. final finishing of the drywall 2. lack of care of the project area (hardwood floors) 3. attention to detail requiring work on our behalf afterward (exposing air vents and outlets they covered) The first issue is attention to detail - the crew covered one of our air vents in the ceiling, never cutting the whole to re-expose it. We only realized this a couple weeks later when we finished painting the ceiling. They also lacked this attention to detail when they covered holes in the walls and through baseboards where we had outlets. In one outlet spot that they remembered to expose, they cut too big of a hole so we had to patch it with joint compound. Before Weder and his team started, we had just pulled up carpet throughout the entire project area to expose heart pine floors. The floors needed some work but are in great shape. Unfortunately, Weder didn't consult with us about protecting them (cost or even asking about if we wanted them covered) and nothing was laid down to protect them. The end result was new dents and scratches on the floor, drywall mud smeared and plopped everywhere, and a very thick coat of drywall dust that was never cleaned up. On the actual walls and ceilings where the drywall was hung, Weder informed us to prime first and then they would come in and do touch ups. Unfortunately, the touch-ups needed were significant. The best word to describe their work was drywall work was very sloppy. Each room had a significant dents and the creases between the walls were messy and chunky. Some spots didn't look like they had been sanded at all. The worst areas were along the door and window trims- there were often huge gaps (1/8-1/4") where the drywall wasn't brought close enough to the trim so there was a gaping space or noticeably sunken-in mud/caulk job. After marking all the areas for touch ups, it was improved but overall the work was still very sloppy. The sloppiness with the application of caulk when the baseboards were put back on has become a headache, leading to messy edges and difficulty painting walls and baseboards with a clean look given the chunky caulking. The baseboards that had to be removed to install the drywall were extremely old. However, it didn't appear as though there was a lot of care in removing them. The team started to install them back on the walks and they were cracked and torn in several places. While I recognize this could have been due to their age, we were frustrated that Weder didn't consult with us to let us know if he recommended new ones or that when they pulled them off, they were splitting and falling apart. When they installed the new baseboards, they also didn't cut holes where our outlets were. (though they didn't charge us to cut and install the new ones). Additionally, one of our door frames was completely split at the bottom after they removed the baseboard. Overall, Weder was professional and his team were all very nice but I do not recommend their drywall services if you are looking for a very clean and polished finish. They told us the project would take about 5 days and it took them 8 or 9.

Do not have enough "Kudos" to give to this extremely professional, courteous and dependable team. Have used many contractors in the past and this is by far my absolute best experience. Weder and his team were always punctual, respected my home and have given absolute excellent quality work. His work is not complete unless you are 100% satisfied. Have more projects in the works and he is on my speed dial ! Thank you Weder and the rest of the team for your continued service !

My husband and I are very happy with the renovation of our two old bathrooms. They look great. Weder and his team (especially Michael) were very professional, friendly and flexible. I highly recommend D&W Handyman. We'll definitely be calling for future services!

Weder did an excellent job pressure washing our house this week. He was very thorough and efficient as well as exceedingly communicative and friendly - and reasonably priced to boot. He takes pride in his work, and with good reason! We will enjoy our beautifully refreshed façade all year long. We highly recommend D&W Handyman & Painting.

I got three estimates (or tried, one firm never got back to me) from highly-rated contractors to renovate my attic, which looked like a scene from a horror movie when I purchased my home. I wanted it to be a carpeted playroom. D&W came in the lowest, so I went with them. I am so glad I did! Weder was excellent to work with – prompt, transparent, and he knew what he was doing. He always kept me updated with their progress, and when there was a choice to be made, he let me know and let me choose. For example, do I want the exposed brick coated? He even noticed my attic was leaking, brought it to my attention, and found the source of the leak in the roof! When I wanted a railing that I saw online, and it wasn’t able to be purchased, he found someone to make it! He even added a super handy closet in the attic, and made a door to fit. You cannot ask for much more than that! The end result – my attic looks fantastic! I highly recommend D&W Handyman for your renovation needs!

D & W Handyman was a wonderful company to work with. I have a detached garage that had become quite worn - roof had holes and wood siding was coming down. D & W gave me a quote and provided some pricing options. Everything was clearly explained and I was able to select roofing to match my house and siding. The team was very professional and efficient. The work was all completed quickly and cleaned up after. I highly recommend D & W Handyman, and will definitely us in the future for work in my home.
