Our 16 year old well pump stopped working on a Friday night. We'd used McDowell Plumbing once before so we called and left a message (it was after 5pm). Steve McDowell called right back, we described the problem and he said he could be out at 9am the next morning. He called at 8:30am, asked if it was clear to come on over and he was on his way. He checked the electrical connections confirming our diagnosis, and set about pulling up the well pump. Our is 327 feet deep, and he used a special well puller to get the well pump up. He validated that it was the pump that was bad, replaced it with the appropriately sized pump, sanitized the well, and re-wired the new pump. He also installed spacers on the lines going down so they would not rub the sides of the well and cause any abrasion. The new pump was then lowered back into the well and tested. Everything checked out and it took less than three hours.
McDowell and his son were very polite, super nice and very accommodating. I'm very glad we called them to do this job!!

They could not work on it because it was somebody else's brand. They were professional and courteous. I would call them again.

I called. I got a call back right away. Came the next day. Did the work quickly efficiently without drama and the price was not out of line . I gave them a check.

They're good christian people who have morals and I trust them. They always come immediately. I had a leak in a closet that I didn't know about. I had some mold and they were here within a couple of hours to fix it.

There were no problems with vendor. They were on time, courteous, helpful with some other plumbing repairs. I highly recommend this company.
