The company was doing work on a new home being built on a lot next to my property. I approached them about clearing part of my property that was adjacent to the property on which they were working. They removed a substantial number of trees, bushes and leave over about a half acre area. However, Pat, the man leading the crew, was unable to take down one tree because it was close to my house and his equipment was being repaired. Part of our agreement was that he would return in the spring and remove the tree as well as turn the dirt on part of the area, and put down grass seed. The price was acceptable and was lower than it might have been because his equipment was at the house next door, and would be again in the spring when he was to put down a lawn at the new house. I think the amount of stuff he removed was beyond what he anticipated when he gave me the price even though he walked the property before giving me the price (this was all verbal; there wa no written contract). This spring he did not return to the house next door, and never responded to many, many phone calls sas to whether he was going to come back and complete the job we had agreed on. I actually wanted some additional work done - for additional money - but could never get any response. I could understand if he did not want to continue, but a failure to respond with a simple phone call would have been helpful as I waited to do any work expecting him to return. When here the crew was very hard working and did a good job. I regret their failure to respond or return, and would not recommend using the company.
