No Pink Flamingos Designs

No Pink Flamingos Designs was a pleasure to work with and very professional. They made a careful quote after deliberate understanding of what I wanted to do. The quote was accurate and the final charge was exactly the quoted amount. Tad is a very careful tradesman, with a pension for having things coming out looking just right. He is an old-time craftsman in that he knows hardscaping as only know a few know their trade so well anymore do. His decades of experience show in his workmanship. In my job, Tad went above and beyond the basic contracted job and did a few extras as well, just to make sure things were all finished off nicely. The front of my house is now much more appealing than it used to be. I would recommend No Pink Flamingos for any hardscaping.

Everything was just perfect. We wanted an easy to maintain design along the front and side of our condo. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted .... something nice to look at but easy to maintain. We moved here from the city and are not too familiar with many outdoor plants. We did mention that we like rocks and moss and an uncluttered look. Mary sent us the design and we saw immediately that her creative eye and sensitivity to individual tastes were exactly what we were looking for. It seemed that she knew what we wanted even though we didn't. We had three antique outdoor foo dog statues which she noted during her initial survey and which she used to beautiful advantage in the final arrangement. Some existing plants fit in with the new design and were integrated into flawlessly into the overall layout together with with the terrific plants she brought with her. A couple of gorgeous boulders and lots of river stones tied everything together very nicely. The finished product is is amazing. We love it!! And so do our neighbors, by the way. So happy we found Mary and Tad and his assistant. They were a pleasure to work with.

We are very pleased with how well the work turned out. Our new walkways are beautiful, reflecting Tad's knowledge, experience, attention to detail, and hard work. I provided the design and he executed it very well. As a team, they are very accommodating, conscientious, reliable, and communicated effectively with me. This is the second major job for which we hired NPF and I will call them again when we are ready for the next phase of our landscaping plan.

Better than we even dreamed!!! Wish that there was a rating higher than A to give No Pink Flamingos Designs. They are fantastic people with whom to work.

They did the front garden planning. I liked their promptness and attention to detail. My interaction with them was very good. The work was very nice they're going to review it next week, one week later. I am using them.

They made adjustments and were very reasonable. It was an excellent job.

They were here last week.

They were so nice, professional, and excellent. We started early and I ordered all of the stuff. It was the middle of spring and I didn't need it done right away. I didn't have it done until September. We had to move things away from the house. We had bricks that went under stairs that came down, they had a few things that they had to deal with. They know their stuff, work hard, did it well, got it done, and cleaned up. I go outside and look at all the projects that they can do. I think it was around $10,000 but, I don't remember.

How fortunate we were to find this company  on Angies List! From the first visit to talk about the design on our walkways to the last day of construction, was  perfect! Mary, the owner of No Pink Flamingos Design was professional, personable and helpful in helping me with the design of the two walkways we wanted in our front yard. We were told upfront that there would be at least 5 to 6 weeks before the work could start. It was less than the estimated wait time for which we were glad.

Tad, the other owner of the company along with his assistant Will, were so pleasant to have working in our yard for two days. Tad is truly an artist. He made suggestions on the placement of the paving stones that were right on. It was fun watching and listening to his interaction with his assistant Will.   I wish I could send a picture of the finished project. People actually stop to admire our walks. Not only did he make the walks, he went above and beyond. He raised up the grade in low spots in the yard to make sure rain water would run off and away from our house. He and Will lugged wheel barrow loads of the dug up dirt into the backyard to help me on another project I was doing rather than hauling it away.

The men seeded and put straw down wherever need after completion of the walkway. When they were done, they cleaned the sidewalks and yard beautifully. Not a bit of stone dust or dirt anywhere.

We would highly recommend this landscaping design company to any and all!

It was wonderful to work with No Pink Flamingos.  Love their attitude towards working and the quality of their work.  I would recommend and would use them again.

Npf was very responsive to my initial request for quote and the price was within budget so proceeded. A short wait (which was explained and expected) to get on the schedule to perform the job. Once the job was started, it proceeded to completion without any issues. The weather was a bit unpredictable during the time of the job but there were no hold ups. The job was very well done and no issues to date. I have no reservations in recommending or hiring NPF for other jobs,

All in all I am happy with the finished product. There was a bit of a lag in getting an appointment set so I could make plans around it but it all worked out well in the end as I had someone who could be home to receive them. The work was finished in less time than expected and I love it!!

We are delighted with the patio paver installation and sitting/retaining wall from No Pink Flamingos. Tad is a true craftsman and takes every detail into account. He was diligent to avoid problems concerning proper drainage of water over the patio and meticulous about the grading issues with the pavers. The quality of the job is excellent and the Hanover Appian natural pavers and the Chapel Stone wall and cap are gorgeous. Tad and his assistant worked hard and got the job done quickly. I highly recommend Tad's work and he is very friendly and accommodating- making sure the job is done right and that problems are avoided. They were in high demand but it was worth the wait for the quality of work. What's important to note is that Tad does his own work. Many companies we interviewed had an owner who did not do their own work.

Project went very well. Tad is way more meticulous than I would have expected. He pays attention to details that I would not have even thought of. He worked well with another contractor doing another part of the project. I would definitely recommend these guys /girls and will use them again when the time comes.

His work was wonderful and he did an excellent job. His price was very reasonable. He explained to me what he was doing. He gave me an estimate and he kept to that. There were no additions even though he had to do some extra stuff that he didn't count on, and there was no extra charge. His responsiveness was very good. I will absolutely use him again in the future.

The quote was reasonable. The owners were delightful, very professional and knowledgable about hardscaping. After removal of the old brick patio the new one was finished in four days. They were respectful; digging up plants that would have been disturbed, regrading around the new patio area and cleaning up every day. My yard looked better after they finished the project. I liked NPF so much that I'm trying to think of another project they can do just to have them around again! And lastly, my new patio is gorgeous! I recommend No Pink Flamingos to anyone who wants any type of hardscaping done.
