I like going to Lowe's but it is less convenient. I would use them again. The don't have people to help and the quality is average.

We had our front window and they were the only once who seem to sell it. It has the blinds in between the panes of glass. It's very expensive, but that way our dogs can get up in the window without tearing up the blinds. They did a great job. They were very good. I was surprised. They were professional. They showed up on time and did it on time. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. It looks great and more importantly for that type of the window. They are the only ones of a national company that I could find that did it. The other company didn't even sell it. They did a fine job on that as well. They did a great job. It looks wonderful.

The price was much cheaper than another plumber from whom I got an estimate. Lowe’s was able to give me a better deal on the installation whereas the other person was going to charge me more to install three toilets. On top of that, I picked up the toilets and brought them home myself. So, I thought it was a little pricey and I ended up getting all three done for about $200. Lowe’s worked with me and I have to use their plumbers again even though they are contractual people. When I find a good contractual company and even if they are independent, I always try to maintain those people so that if I have to call them on my own, then I would do that. I would use Lowe’s again.

We really liked the windows sold by Lowes, so we decided to use them.  The sliding doors were larger than normal and had to be ordered.  Getting the person who handles all of this to respond to our frequent calls was difficult at best.  Very unresponsive.  Nonetheless, we wanted those windows, so we stuck with them.  Having to pay for the whole thing up front was not very comforting either.  Everything was installed over 2 days, and we were happy with how that went.  At the end of the installation, we went around with the installer and found 2 torn screens and a missing latch on the door.  He promised to be back next week to fix all of those.  It is now mid-July, and I'm still waiting.  I've had more than 10 conversations with people at the Timonium store and I've gotten lots of promises of follow up, but they seem to just be stalling tactics.  The installer did come about a month ago to check the needed repairs, and said he would return to fix them the following week, and that there was no need for us to be present since it was all on the outside.  Nothing since.  While he was at the house, I pointed out a problem with the security latch he had installed on the inside of the door.  Instead of figuring out the problem and fixing it, he did a cosmetic fix.  I didn't realize this until after he left.  Bottom line, good product, lousy service.

They sub-contracted the work. I spent about $2000 on that work. I decided to use them because of a recommendation from a friend and they had what I was looking for. They did an excellent job and everything worked out perfectly.

It stated out good the price was good compare to other estimates that I had gotten, but that is all. One the money was taken it has been all down hill. They the Salesman placed the order incorrectly, but they are getting interest on my money.

There was someone there to help and they went on very easily which was nice. They deliver the doors. I would definitely shop there again.

It was a pretty good experience. I feel like they ve got the name recognition, so they get business like that. They were helpful. It s a little hard to have continuity when you re talking to different people. The product selection was ok. I dealt with someone who was very familiar with their system, so they keyed it in. I felt like the communication was a little lacking. We had to call them several times. For a big bucks retail store, overall, it was a pretty pleasant experience.

The overall experience was excellent. The installer that Lowe's contracted did a superb job, worked quietly, efficiently and cleaned up after himself. Couldn't be happier!

They came at midnight which was very inconvenient for us. The work was sloppy and unsatisfactory, and they even tried to cheat us on the price. I am still waiting on the warranty that they were supposed to give us with the installation.

He told us they were going to have the oven installed within the next two days. I called them the same day, because I had to move the appointment. I get a call today (11/15) telling me that they were going to be here tomorrow with the oven. I then had to tell them that I had already changed the appointment, which they did not update (he later found the note on the phone while he was talking with me). He really was pushing me to get the oven in tomorrow, but I kept telling him to install it when I wanted it to be installed. I finally agreed for them to do it tomorrow (11/16). After I asked them if there was anything else he needed from me, he said no and I hung up. Then I get a phone call from Chandez who was rude, abrupt, and obnoxious and was asking me if I had a bunch of things like wiring and things I didn't know about. At that point, I told them to give me credit for the whole thing and to cancel the job. Chandez works for Lowe's not the contractor.

We had to make numerous phone calls to have a replacement installation of a toilet and sink scheduled. When the installer arrived, he lacked what he needed to complete the installation. He wanted to return a week later, leaving us without a sink, so that he could get additional supplies from Annapolis. My husband insisted on driving him to a local supply store where my husband had to buy what the plumber needed. We still do not have a silicone seal between the back of the sink and the wall (the plumber lacked silicone). Overall, not a great experience.

Lowes sells the carpet and hires an outside contractor to install the carpet. The entire process went pretty smoothly. The installers were polite, friendly and professional. My only disappointment with the job is that the installers had to take off nine interior doors since there was a clearance problem with new carpet. They do not undercut and reinstall the interior doors thus leaving this task to the homeowners. I think undercutting and reinstalling doors should be part of the installation service. With the right equipment, it should only take 10 minutes per door.

We bought a Kitchenaid dishwasher from this Lowes store and had them deliver and install it. The salesman was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The dishwasher was delivered within a few days of purchasing and the installation went smoothly.

Ordered 11x13 rug in November paid $1000. Promised home delivery in 2 wks. After calling finally delivered in 6wks. Wrong color. They would order correct one and pick up wrong one. After being told: it wasnt ordered, its not in, it is in will be del tomorrow, not in, someone will call you tomorrow (no call) I emailed head co. in NC. Someone will call you tomorrow (no call) I finally cancelled sale in April. Not once during this whole time did anyone ever apologize for their horrible screw-up!

My experience with the Lowes salesman was fine. The story begins on the installation of the microwave oven and the use of the Lowes recommended appliance installation company -Lowes was notified about the microwave - spoke with the store managers on 3 separate occasions, but they didnt follow through on my complaint - even though they said they would. My complaint with Lowes is that they should have made sure the installation was done to my satisfaction, especially since I used their recommended installer. They should also have followed through on the replacement of the defective microwave oven. All store managers told me they would follow through, but none actually did.

THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. I HAD A LOWES DESIGNER DO MY KITCHEN FOR $60 TOTAL, AND WE SPENT COUNTLESS HOURS REDESIGNING TO THE LAST DETAIL. I HIRED AN INDEPENDENT, THOUGH LOWES APPROVED CONTRACTOR WAS ALSO EXCELLENT.

LOWES OFFERED THE BEST PRICE AND SELECTION FOR OUR BASEMENT. WE SELECTED A BERBER THAT HAD AN INTERESTING DESIGN THAT WAS JUST WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR. IN FACT, I FOUND THIS SAME DESIGN AT A DESIGNER STORE FOR $800 MORE. THE BASEMENT AREA WAS MEASURED FOR CARPET THAT SAME WEEK AND WEVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED. ID RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
