ADVANCED HEATING AND COOLING

The Heat Pump purchased was not fully explained, as it should have been per Carrier. It has some limitations. Installation quality was poor and things had to be re-done. In relation to an installation deficiency, one installer said "we are given a ticket with exactly what will be done, I don't do any more". Months later a muffler was added to stop terrible noise. I later found Carrier documentation stating the the muffler is recommended with this unit. Folks are always responsive when I contact them, but the actual work is lacking.

Went pretty well. All was done as agreed. There were a couple slightly sloppy things that they re-did, at my request.

It went great.  Brad Foxwell was the sales rep on the project.  He promptly came to my house to review the situation and discuss my options.  He gave me a full range of options from attempting to repair the old unit, to just replacing the AC unit, to doing a full system replacement.  He discussed options around equipment vendors.  He ultimately gave me his professional recommendation which made sense on so many levels that I went with it.  Clearly Brad knows the AC / heating business extremely well. He then quickly (within one day) provided a written contract via e-mail that clearly outlined what services they would perform and with what equipment.   The install took one full day.  My wife was home and said the installation crew was extremely nice and courteous.  They left the house and yard clean.  To my eye, the install was done in a very careful and professional manner.  The system has been performing great and without any issues so far (we have had it about a month).  Overall, our experience from start to finish was excellent.

This was a huge job and I was thrilled from start to finish.  I found Luis and his company on a referral from my regular plumber.  I made an appointment to talk with Luis about the job and he was on time and prepared. We walked through as he assessed how we might put central air into this house that had never had it before and what the options might be.  I originally wanted ducts put in, but the more we talked the more it became clear that the split system was a better fit all around for my needs and the construction of the house.  Luis took a great deal of time to answer my questions and offer me options; he sent a formal proposal a few days later as promised.  Once I signed the contract it was about 3 weeks until they started.  They had been overwhelmed with work because of the heat but stuck to the agreed-on start day (Luis himself came out as part of the crew so my job could start on time).  They came at 7:30 each morning as promised and worked continuously to get the job done.  They took care to lay dropclothes on the floors and to clean up any messes caused by drilling holes.  Where there were choices to be made they talked with me about the options and let me decide my preference.  I would absolutely use them in the future for additional HVAC work.

Five employees in my house for about five days. They were all overwhelmingly professional, polite and respectful. They set the standard for all other contractors I have hired, and no one has come close to the level of professionalism they exhibited.
