Kevin was very professional, polite and did a pretty good job. I had gotten estimates from the larger floor companies and they were around $1,800 to $ 2,200 but they would supply the tile. Since this was the floor in the basement and I wanted to use this space as an exercise room, I didn't want to spend that kind of money. I bought the tile at a home improvement company, had called some tile companies and got Kevin's name from a tile company. The tile cost around $200 and I paid Kevin $660 to put it down, quite a savings. That price also included him putting molding at the edge of the tile and the walls. He bought some primed molding which I will paint later. He brought his partner along to help him, supplied the glue, the metal strips that separate the carpet from the tile and all the tools they needed to do the job. Kevin also installs sheet vinyl and carpet. He will give you a price on tile or carpet if you wanted to get it from him; however, he could not undercut the tile I bought at the home improvement store. We settled on a day and he was due here at 7:00 AM. At 7:00 AM, he called to let me know he would be there at 8:00 AM. I appreciated him calling to let me know, some people don't call at all, they just show up late.
