Link's put down a stone base over my old driveway which was a good stable base. They then applied a thick coat of asphalt over the stone. Edges and transitions look good. My father used them and was happy so I thought I would and I am happy too. I always pass their number along to friends in need of a new driveway.

After reading previous reviews on Angie's List I contacted them by email and got a prompt response. Estimate was competitive with others but I liked that they were local. Crew arrived on time and did an excellent job of resurfacing and repairing a previously installed asphalt driveway. We had a drainage problem which they took care of by correctly grading the surface and now we have no standing water on our driveway. Overall great experience. I would definitely use them again.

The asphalt is finished perfectly, and it looks excellent. The edges are straight and clean, the corners are square, and the curves are nicely done. They did the entire job in a single day, and the price was excellent. They cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. There were 2 quotes that were cheaper, but they were with low-rated companies and I decided against using them. I'm glad I did. Most of the quotes I got were significantly more expensive, some of them for only 2and quot; of asphalt no less - for example one company wanted nearly $9000 for 2and quot; of asphalt. It pays to do your homework and get a lot of quotes. Talk to at least 5 contractors before you commit. If you get any kind of a weird vibe from someone, or if they fail to follow up with you promptly, don't use them. My only complaint about Links would be that this husband and wife team apparently are always working, and so it is impossible to get ahold of them directly on the phone. We ended up playing phone tag for weeks because they only return calls once each night every few days - just in time for my iPhone battery to be dead for the day. The do, however, return all phone calls (eventually). I would also have liked a final contract to eliminate confusion, and an in-person talk before they showed up on site, but those details don't matter when the job is done this well. They didn't request any advance payment either - it was payment in full on completion, which is nice.

I would recommend this company to all.

We got several estimates and did our research before deciding on Link's. Todd is a relative of our neighbor and he is the one who gave us the reccomendation. Todd and his wife came and did the work. They were completely courteous, professional, and you could not have asked for a better job well done. Of course my neighbor had his drive done with them, too several years ago and his has stood the test of time. Everything was done as promised and we have received one compliment after the next on our drive. Initially I had some concerns (I am VERY picky about things and extremely cautious due to previous bad experiences hiring people) about being on the same page and when I called Todd and asked him to stop by again to go over everything he did. He actually listened and the job was done exactly the way I wanted it. They were comparable in price to the others and without a doubt were the company to go with. Two thumbs up and anyone looking to get their drive done should go with Link's!
