This was supposed to be a spring clean-up. The landscaping work was not complete by this company because there were leaves everywhere and he told me that he picked them up but he did not. He said he raked it and mowed near my fence, but I picked up a half a bag just on one side of the lawn, and I am still picking up leaves in the middle and the other side. The over-seeding was also incomplete. Unfortunately, I paid him before I inspected the work. When I emailed him about the issues, he showed up at my house unannounced (without calling me to let me know he was coming) to look at it. When I showed him all the work that was not done, he offered me a full refund because I was not satisfied. I told him I thought that a full refund of my money was unfair to him and then he said that I should tell him how much I thought I should get back. When I emailed him how much I thought I should get back, and explained it in an email, he told me he did all the work and I didnt give him a chance to resolve it so he did not think he should refund but 5%. When he showed up at my house without telling me that he was coming, he could have resolved it all then but he offered me a full refund and did not offer to resolve the issues. This landscaping service was not worth the money I spent. I am doing much of the raking and picking up leaves myself. The mulch in the flowerbed and trees looked nice, but I will be going to buy seeds this weekend so I can actually do what I already paid this company to do grow my lawn. Additionally, there are large oil stains in front of my house where his truck leaked several times.
