By mistake, the provider installed a new filtration system at our house. It was intended for our neighbor and the instructions clearly said last house on the left. The filter was of lower quality than our existing filter. We immediately tried to contact the owner to inform him of the mistake. Instead, we were only able to speak to the receptionist. She laughed and tried to sell us on the benefits of the filter they installed. A few days later, without speaking to us, they came to our house, took out the one they installed by mistake, and put our filter back in. Unfortunately, the filter is not in nearly the same condition it was in before they removed. Naturally, if something is being removed for disposal, there is no need to handle it with care. I called and spoke to the owner and he, without seeing it, said it was fine and they even installed a new pressure gauge, which they did not do. I asked if he could come to my house in the evening to meet with me and look at the filter. He said no. Instead, he came to my house for the third time without my permission, while nobody was home, and this time after I informed him that I wanted to be there when/if he came back. His only willingness to remedy the situation was to give us a bucket of chlorine, saying "a bucket of shock goes a long way."

I tried for weeks to get someone from Scott's to repair my outdoor spa. Too many promises of "we'll get out there in a couple days", which didn't materialize. I understand that their spa guy had a medical issue in the middle of this multi week ordeal, however they lacked the professional courtesy to call with a realistic date for service. This went on for most of the month of November, and I was very concerned about getting frozen lines in my non-functioning outdoor spa. It was almost December, and I was tired of the run around so I called another service (who arrived the next day)

I WOULD RECOMMEND SCOTT'S TO ANYONE IN THE AREA. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO OFFER ADVISE FREE OF CHARGE. I HAVE CALLED THEM MANY TIMES JUST TO ASK QUESTIONS. THEY ARE WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH.
