K&R did an outstanding job in replacing the shingles on my rood. Francisco's crew were very professional and their work ethic was exceptional. Robert Wood supervised the job though-out and ensured that all the details were addressed. Cleanup was ongoing throughout the three day period that they were here. Annette was on site for the entire three days to supervise the cleanup activity, which was considerable. Other than the new roof, you could not tell they were here once the job was completed. Their price was fair for the size of the job.

The company showed up on time and conducted the shingle replacement being careful not to damage the gardens around the house. They brought the roof up to current code, (the roof no longer complied with local codes), and worked with our chimney company to install the flashing properly. The cleanup was performed in an acceptable manner and the work was finished on time. Follow-up inspections by the company and I showed I had a good roof that was going to last another long time. I would definitely recommend this company for roof work.

Robert came to my house and inspected the roof and inside the attic. He explained what was going wrong with my roof and outlined my options for getting a new roof installed. He also showed me his company's credentials and their excellent ratings with various rating agencies. He gave me a quote and I was contacted to confirm the installation date. Robert and his crew showed up on time, worked really hard all day and had the new roof installed as well as the two new attic fans we had discussed installing. They cleaned up completely when they were done. Throughout the process Robert and his employees were all very professional, quick to respond to any questions and helpful in all ways. I recommend K & R Roofmasters highly and would use them again.

Robert was supposed to clean my gutters and replace a few shingles on the roof that had become loose. He cancelled my first appointment and then changed the second one. When he actually arrived to do the work, he did not do the roof work because he said "I didn't wear the right shoes to go up onto your roof." There were areas, in order to clean the gutters, that he needed to be on the roof, so he didn't even complete the gutter cleaning work.

When I asked him what I owed him he told me $350. I was taken back by this amount. He took 2 hours when other companies have taken only 1 hour to complete the work. He spent lots of the time power-blowing my yard! He left the replacement shingles that he carried up onto the roof up there! He told me if I wanted gutters cleaned I should have contracted with someone who just does gutters. He went on to say that the skill level of cleaning gutters was low and I would have been charged only about $100. He then said he had greater skills, skills regarding roofing, and therefore could charge $175 per hour. I couldn't believe he said this! I contracted with him because I wanted the gutters cleaned and roof work. He didn't bring the right shoes to get on my roof! Also, gutter cleaning is first item listed under "Category" for his company. This could be considered bait and switch.

He never followed up on sending me a receipt/invoice for the $350. I had to call for one. He never followed up on rescheduling the roof work. I had to call, and even when I did and an appointment was set with his office (Annette) they showed no record of the appointment and it had to be rescheduled again. I finally gave up on this company and cancelled my upcoming appointment.

I selected this firm because of all the 'A' ratings they'd received. I wish I could have been one of those satisfied customers.

Robert Woods is thorough and absolutely professional. I contacted him after we experienced damages due to the blizzard.
I felt his examination of our property and explanation of the assessment was more thoroughly than the insurance adjusters. He took pictures and offered several cost savings solutions.
The customer service for this company is great! Thoughtful attention is paid, right down to how they answer the phone.
In my humble opinion, the roofing side of the company is superior to the gutter installation services. I wouldn't hesitate to call Robert Woods to handle any future roofing repairs for my home. Robert Wood, his roofing expertise and his administrative team made a good and lasting impression on me and I'm confident to invite him back for future roofing repair needs.
As far as the actual team that installed my gutters, in all honesty, I would not want them to do further work on my gutters. Minor mistakes were made. They promptly came back to my home to correct them. However, the workers appeared a little insulted and hesitant to do a thorough inspection. I'm still not certain that they thoroughly inspected their work when they returned.
I still give an A++ to Robert Wood and the administrative team though. They were great from start to finish. To date, I've not give the new gutters a thorough and complete examination, because I've not be home when it was raining enough to know for certain. Yet, I trust Robert to send someone back promptly, if I discover any additional seam leakages.

We experience a major leak in our ceiling dining room.  K&R came out an inspected the attic and found a roof air vent that was installed across my entire roof peak had been leaking for years, he explained the necessary steps to fix the issue (replace entire roof and installed solar powered fan to vent the attic). The wood on the roof in the attic was rotting and growing some sort of "organic material". He covered my roof with a tarp. The quote was reasonable given the amt of work that needed to be done. The material arrive in about a week and the next day after the material arrived they started the work. Even though it was cold, they finished the work in one day. They cleaned up all trash from the old roof. I am very happy that my roof is fixed and looks great. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a professional doing their roof repairs or replacement who uses top quality material and workers.

The provider was able to locate roofing tiles that matched my existing roof.  This was a pleasant surprise given the Horizon roofing shingles are no longer available for sale.  The technician arrived on time and performed his work in a professional manner.

Robert arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional.  We have alot of LF of gutters and 12/12 pitch roofs and dormers.  He did the work quickly and cleanly, bagging all of the debris.  Normally, when I do it, the ground looks like a hurricane had been through but with K&R, I couldn't even tell the gutters had been cleaned.  Beautiful!
It can be difficult to hire someone for a job you would normally do yourself but, when it's necessary, it's great to find the right place. Thanks!

I had a leak in my roof.  One estimate was $22,000 and they wanted to do my windows which were not a problem.  Another estimate was for $5,000 with no guarantee.  K&R came over, diagnosed the problem to be flashing that had become lose, and fixed it in less than a half hour.  They also looked at the roof and told me it would last at least 5 more years, possibly more, I am now in my sixth year.  They also explained some new type roofs that were coming out that could possibly also convert light into electricity and later e-mailed my information on those roofs, but not a sales pitch.  Their price was so low I actually argued to pay more.  Will I use them again, d*** right.  And I will tell anyone who needs a roof or roof repair about them.

It went well. Rob Woods was very professional and worked quickly. He made sure I got all the discounts I could. 
The prices are a bit steep, but I guess you get what you pay for.

It went Perfectly!  Punctual, Professional and I have never seen a work crew (8 men) work so efficiently together with each man knowing exactly what their job was.

My husband and I had a lot of questions and discussion with Robert before we made the choice to go with K&R Roofmasters. Robert was very patient and thorough in his presentation of what his company does when replacing a roof and in explaining our options. After his initial presentation, we had many questions before making the decision. (We had a previous bad experience with a different contractor when trying to obtain a roof estimate, so we were overly cautious.) All our questions and concerns were met with patient explanations. Robert was the ONLY contractor that went in our attic to inspect the roof from the underside before giving us an estimate.  When we made the decision to use K&R, we felt pretty confident that we would be satisfied.
Our roof was way past its lifetime. It was "potato chip" condition and there were leaks. Because our budget was straining from making this purchase, we were concerned about what would be discovered under the old roof shingles. Unfortunately, a lot of pieces of plywood had rot in it and had to be replaced. Robert's team checked every piece of our roof for structural integrity so only the pieces which were actually damaged would be replaced. This helped to save us money rather than just telling us it all had to be redone. Robert never tried to pressure us into doing unnecessary work which we really appreciated.
The team Robert used was a group of nice, hard-working, respectful men; Robert supervised and did some of the hands-on work. Everything was cleaned up well and the end result is a very well done, attractive roof with a power fan to keep our attic cool to help protect the shingles so they will last longer. We have gone through an entire winter with snow, ice, wind, and lots of rain and there has not been one leak or problem with our roof. Robert told me several times if we have any issues, call and he will tend to it and I'm sure he will, if needed.
Also, anytime I called the office, I had respectful and kind staff members help me.
I would highly recommend K&R and if I have a roofing need, I will be calling Robert!

I called this company to provide an estimate and then asked how comparable they were to other vendors.  The owner admitted that his prices were higher than other competitors because the quality of the products were guaranteed for 25 years and that he complied with e-Verify to ensure that there were no illegal immigrants working in his company.  He also said that he personally manages the work and that he would ensure that the quality was done to my satisfaction.  I have had people in my neighborhood stop and ask me who did my roof because the work was done so professionally and the materials were absolutely beautiful and added to the aesthetic appeal of my home.  I love my roof and would never have believed how much the roof contributed to the outside appeal of my home.
