Description of Work: Before we moved into our house, we wanted to have some interior and exterior work done and our realtor recommended that we talk with Jorge at Smart Hammer. We're so happy we made the call as Jorge and his team performed stellar work. The majority of the interior work involved painting and re-doing the floors in two bedrooms. Jorge struck a great balance between offering advice on colors/finishes for the paint and listening to our ultimate goals for the rooms. The quality of the painting made it worth every penny. The same is true of the floors -- Jorge and his team ripped out some old carpet and sanded and varnished the original hardwood floors. The other big project was replacing the stairs into our attic. Here, too, Jorge informed us of the pros and cons of the options and then installed a new set of foldable aluminum stairs. Jorge and his team also performed smaller projects in the bathrooms, including fixing small cracks. On the exterior, they installed a railing and fence for a set of stairs that leads down to our basement door.
