About us
We provide complete, in-house design & construction remodeling services, exclusively serving Potomac, Bethesda & Chevy Chase, Maryland. We create projects that solve the needs of our clients, focusing on creative functionality, aesthetics, & budget concerns. We procure the best pricing from suppliers, & have seasoned on-site supervision that will oversee the expertly skilled craftsmen for every phase of the project. The initial discussions & meeting are at no cost, then once it is decided, we go into the "Dream Study & Reality Check" phase, otherwise known as the Feasibility Study, which approximate costs are 1-2% of budget or $500-$5,000 depending on the scope of the project. Once the viability of the project is determined actual contract costs are incurred.

We were told to estimate about 6-8 weeks for the work to be done, after the cabinetry and appliances were ordered and we had a start date; Passover was coming, and two very large seders (requiring us to have time to learn to work the new appliances and use the new kitchen!).
Every workman who came into our house was professional and courteous, attentive to his work, clearly very good at his particular craft, and basically wonderful to have around. Heading up our job was Tim Brubaker, who ran things calmly, smoothly, and efficiently, a pleasure to have here every day for the entire time, and quite expert and caring about the job.
We are so happy with the completed kitchen -- and with our choice of contractor. We highly recommend working with Kandel Construction Group for any remodeling you have in mind.
