Ample Electric

Absolutely Excellent Service! I sent an email and Ample Electric was here the next business day! My 1970's style tube light had been out for approximately 4 months and I had been having trouble finding someone willing to take on such a small job. I had already purchased the new lighting fixture so all I needed was someone to take out the old light and install the new one. The owner, Reed, arrived on time; was polite, professional and was extremely courteous. Especially when my dogs escaped from my room and decided to investigate him! The whole job was done within an hour and a half. I have lighting in my kitchen again and am extremely happy with the cost as well as this Company! I will use Ample Electric for all of my electrical needs in the future!

This was a great expereince from start to finish. The price was fair and the work was excellent. He arrived when he said he would and did what he contracted for. He cleaned up all his mess. Other than some holes in the walls (whihc I expected) you wouldn't have even known he had been in our house.

When I met with Reed McCathran (the owner and a master electrician) before contracting for the work, he spent a considerable amount of time understanding my needs and thinking through the best ways to do the job. The quote he submitted for the work was extremely competitive (and couldn't be beat!).
Once the contract was signed, Reed immediately scheduled the work -- and was committed to getting it done in a timely fashion.
Reed did all of the work himself (with some assistance from another colleague). It was reassuring that the owner of the company (and a master electrician) was always there leading the work.
The work performed was meticulous and perfect! Reed's attention to detail was impressive. And he took the time to answer any questions I had.
I highly recommend Ample Electric for any electrical work. I will definitely use them in the future whenever additional electrical work needs to be done in my home.

Reed arrived early in the morning and worked through 105 degree weather and continued to work through the thunder storms. He took the time to answer all my questions and explained how to operate each fixture. He removed all packaging/materials and clean the areas where he performed work. Everything looks and works great. I one very pleased customer.

Reed was on time, professional and courteous. He explained how he would do the work and what it would cost before he began. I felt that he was very trustworthy, which is very important to me. Reed (Ample Electric) has become my electrician. I will use him again for any electrical issues I might have.

I was in need of some serious electrical updating in my home. I was referred to Ample Electric by my neighbor. Reed came to my home on a Friday when we did a walk thru of the work I wanted done. This included a change out from an old fuse box to a circuit breaker, cleaning up various outlets in the basement, re-installing a broken overhead light in the basement and connecting it to the main light switch, installing several new outlets including an outside outlet, and repairing the outside lighting. One day later, he e-mailed me a price quote which was competitive with another estimate I had received. I made some minor changes/clarifications and returned it to him. He made the adjustments and returned the contract witihin about a day. Once we were in agreement, he applied for and received the necessary permit and arrived at my home within the time window agreed upon. He and his assistant immediately went about their work. They were respectful of my home, cleaned up any mess that was made, kept me informed of what they were doing, and discussed with me anything they were unsure of. In short, I was very pleased with their work and would definitely recommend this company.
