Upon acceptance of the estimate, they moved very quickly and with little disruption to our normal schedule. I met initially with the owner of RJ Grimes in early April to discuss the replacement of my windows, siding and roof. My wife and I have a busy schedule but Robert Grimes (owner) scheduled a meeting with us around our busy schedules. He presented us with many options keeping our budget in mind. We received a detailed proposal within days of the meeting. We had received proposals from a few other contractors but did not feel comfortable with the vagueness of their described proposed work. We proceeded to hire RJ Grimes and prepared ourselves for the typical inconveniences that come with construction projects. What we experienced was the total opposite. RJ Grimes employees were prompt, courteous and experienced. The project lasted approximately 1-1/2 weeks. The other contractors estimated 2-3 weeks for completion. The employees of RJ Grimes treated our house like a home and not a job site. At the end of each day our property was left clean and neat.
