Superior Design & Restoration

I hired Superior Design & Restoration in March 2025 to replace my roof after my insurance approved the claim. I paid them $7,666.50 as the first installment. Unfortunately, no work was ever started. My scheduled installation was canceled, and I was given different explanations at different times (inclement weather, family emergency, and materials not being ordered). Despite repeated calls, texts, and emails from me, I received little to no communication back. On May 7, 2025, I cancelled the project due to lack of performance and requested a refund. Superior only returned a partial amount ($1,821.91) many weeks later and has withheld the remaining balance. No materials were ever delivered to my property, and no work was performed. Because of these delays and refusal to return my full payment, I have been left without a roof replacement for months, during which time my home has sustained additional deterioration and moisture issues. I’ve since had to escalate this to the Maryland Home Improvement Commission and my legal counsel. This has been an extremely stressful and frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this company based on what I personally went through.

The people in the office are extremely friendly and fast. There was a short hold up on getting my roof fixed due to my insurance company, but Superior helped with the entire process and made everything a lot less stressful for me. Thank you!

From start to finish I was kept informed of the progress on my new roof. The salesman was very professional and the office staff was professional and polite. I thought it was too good to be true that my insurance was going to cover majority of costs, but Superior came through and got me my new roof. They worked with my insurance company and made the process a lot less stressful. Thank you Superior!

Roof turned out decent, overpriced and terrible customer service. Have tried to contact multiple times since completion about a problem and can’t get a return call or anything from them. HIGHLY discourage anyone from using their services...all they care about is the $$$$

We had a terrible hail and wind storm in February, and it was on my list to get some visible roof damage repaired - I figured it would be minor. Superior was in my neighborhood doing a job, and I struck up a conversation with their rep - Guy Cox. He shared that damage can go deeper than what I can see from the ground, and offered to take a look. After a thorough review, he thought that replacement was warranted, and advised that insurance should cover the claim. A quick call to Erie Insurance had them out within a few days, and Guy walked the roof with their representative. It took about 30 minutes for Erie to agree, and within 24 hours I had a claim approved. Guy walked me through the entire process with insurance, and was very patient answering all of my questions. Superior did a great job with the roof installation, and I was very happy with the material choices, material quality, workmanship, professionalism of the crew, and follow-up inspection. Really just a flawless process. The process from claim to completion was about as complex as ordering a pizza, thanks to Superior's help.

They worked with me over a long period after my initial insurance company refused to give me full replacement cost. Adam assured me that I would get a new roof eventually. With the help of another insurance company we were able to get the worked scheduled. Superior's team came out and completed the work in two days. I am pretty satisfied with the new roof. Job tood 4 days to complete; overal I'm satisfied with the Job! Adam even cleaned up debris in my backyard including all the fallen leaves.
