Manny'S Electric

I hired Mannys Electric to install a new electric service panel and 10 breaker back up emergency panel for a generator. Manny told me the job will take 2 or 3 days. He started on December 16, 2013. Finished on March 1, 2014. 10 weeks later. Several days into the job I asked him if he will be finished by Christmas, He insured me he will be done by Christmas. Yeah right. Never worked a full 8 hour day and never worked 2 days in a row. Then I made a huge mistake and had him do 6 or 7 small jobs. Install a new smoke detector, new dryer outlet, new phone line. Cost were: Smoke detectors (2) ....$900.00 Dryer outlet.......$350.00 Phone line .......$300.00 And he charged me an additional $600 bucks to hook up the new electrical panel to the BGE meter. Checked and the average cost to hook up is $290.00. Every job he did was 2 or 3 times higher then the going rate. I checked with someone else and on the internet. Manny also likes to tell you in the 3rd person "Manny is a master electrician". " Manny knows the chief meter inspector at BGE". "Manny knows automation" Well I can tell you , Manny is a master bullsh*ter and big show off. If you want someone to rip you off Manny is your guy. Would not trust him to change a light bulb.
