They responded to my call right away. They replaced our entire front gutter system with downspouts with shields.  There was one issue with an downspout, but they were very responsive to my call, and came out and replaced it within a few days at no additional cost. Very satisfied with their work and would use them again.

Mr. Zimmerman promptly returned all of my telephone calls, answered my many questions and was able to schedule the work at my convenience.  Owner is on site during the entire installation and his crew did a great job.  Mr. Zimmerman recommended a leaf guard that he thought would work best for my townhouse. The entire cost was less than other estimates that I had received.

I called Zimmerman along with two others from Angie's List.
He returned my call the next day and told me when he could see the property. He sent me a detailed email with a summary of the issue. I emailed him back and he performed the work within the week.Very smooth process.

The other two firms I contacted also sent me an estimate via email. Their descriptions of the work to be performed were less detailed but they were prompt to respond.

This was a small repair but my experience dealing with contractors was much better than when I wanted to get a large slate roof repaired.

The company was founded decades ago and is locally owned and run by Jeff Zimmerman, the son of the original founder.  All work was done professsionally and on schedule, and all questions were answered timely before, during, and after the installation. 

The quoted price was $1000 lower than Home Depot and a local franchise (albeit one that is highly rated on Angie's List), and the work was certainly comparable.  Beware of salesmen (from the local franchise) that ask "what are the most important factors in deciding which company to choose".  This is shorthand for "how much can I charge this guy and get away with it?".  Zimmerman, however, quoted a fair price without pretense and performed quality work, without any silly dancing around with the price.

I received a timely quote that was very competitive and was able to schedule the installation at my convenience. They installed new gutters and removed and took away the old.

Jeff did a great job of looking the job over and making good suggestions for addressing several challenging areas on our old gutter system. Jeff and his crew showed up on time, took care of business, and left without a trace. They did a nice job off addressing a couple of problem areas, and the gutter guards are great. We had one very minor problem after the first heavy rain, and Jeff came out the same day that I called him about it and took care of it. Great Service!

They were great! It's too bad that they don't do other services, because I would use them! They were helpful, pleasant, punctual, and professional. It has been a year, and the gutters have held up great! I got quotes from other companies, and they wanted a lot more money.

I called requesting an estimate and it was scheduled for a few days later. Mr. Zimmerman, the Dad, came right on time. We discussed what I wanted including white gutters with leaf guard and colored downspouts. We also discussed accommodating my rain barrels. He gave me a reasonable estimate. Of course, I sought another estimate which turned out much higher for the same product. I called to schedule. Jeff had to call me back and there were a few changes, but I could not be happier with the result. My husband was here for the installation and he reports that the crew was very friendly and professional. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up completely. They made special modifications for my rain barrels without so much as a grimace.

They were very honest. The estimate was reasonable. They charged what they estimated. It looks good. It was very much high quality work and seemed to spend time to make sure it looked decent.

Wonderful! Jeff and his team arrived quickly to remove two damaged downspouts and replace with two new ones. Their responsiveness and customer service were excellent, as was the price!
