STUART KITCHENS

Everything went smoothly and was done well.  Most importantly though, everything happened on schedule.  It only took 4 weeks. Everything went perfectly. 

Definitely got what I paid for. We checked out three different companies based on their ratings and comments here on Angie's List. Each company drew up designs and gave us a price quote. I picked Stuart Kitchens because I got most excited about their design and they are located only a few minutes away. Their quote came in the lowest. Unfortunately, I was not wowed by the outcome. The issues: 1) We did the tear-out of the old cabinets to save some money and my misunderstanding was that they would patch up the drywall in the spots that needed it. This was not the case and definitely was not worth the money we saved to do the tear-out ourselves. 2) Also, there were some imperfections in the job and instead of just replacing the problem spots, they tried to patch/cover them in bizarre ways. In the end, they replaced the counter piece that was too short and patched the damaged cabinets. If I wanted problem areas covered up in creative ways, I would have let my husband do the job instead of paying professionals to do it. Bottom line, our kitchen looks nice and they were very punctual/responsive with the job, but I wish I had spent more money and gone with John E Ruth Company who did our bathroom because they were a better company to work with. Our bathroom has that professionally done, polished feel to it whereas our kitchen seems like a good do-it-yourself job.

I cannot say enough about this company. They were fantastic from the initial consult and estimate to completion. The sales rep Maria was great. More than anything else I require communication from people/companies I contract with. Without that you don't stand a chance. All my calls were answered or returned promptly. All questions or issues addressed immediately. The workers were the best. They were very nice, courteous, professional and VERY good at what they did. Cleanup was also done well each and every time. The job was done on time and as scheduled. The only problem we encountered was the backsplash being measured wrong and, therefore, didn't fit. They quickly made new ones and had them installed to our complete satisfaction. I truly felt our satisfaction was important to them. We will use them again for future remodeling.
