We hire the Stove Doctor every year to clean our pellet stoves and dryer vent. They do a top-notch job and are very knowledgeable and professional.

I thought I needed a new stove-  Stove Doc said, no I didn't.  I have used the stove - a lot - 8 years.  Canadian made- so he had to order parts from Canada. 
He overhauled the entire stove and it looks great.  Highest cost was the parts (no shock) and his work was ~ EXCELLENT. Made a few improvements, tool  Will definitely use again.
A definite recommend.  A+

The guy, I think his name was Bill?, was great. I bought a house with a pellet stove in it a year ago, still had several questions (does my gasketing look ok, etc.) He cleaned it thoroughly and checked it out, answered all my questions and gave me a couple tips I had never considered. He was earnest to talk to and I never got the feeling he was trying to sell me something. I'm happy and plan to use them in the future.

Arrived early and was very professional. Took his time to make sure all parts were working correctly. Great service and would highly recommend him.

We have had our gas fireplace stove for several years, and after a basement flooring upgrade, thought it would be a good idea to have the unit inspected and cleaned before the winter months.



Chris showed up on time, was helpful and respectful. He explained everything he was doing, how the components worked, and what to look for as potential future issues.



He also suggested a cleaning and maintenance schedule.

My experience was great with Stove Doctor. They cleaned the fireplace very well, gave me some instructions, tips and recommendations on how to use the fireplace and fixed a loose connection which was keeping the fireplace from turning on. Great to get some heat in the addition of the house where no central heat is getting to. Would definitely use them in the future.

We had significant damage to our basement from Irene and Lee. A
fireplace which we originally had put in by the Stove Doctor was damaged
when the restoration company came in to do mold and water remediation.
We contacted the stove doctor and they were out as soon as we had done
the wall and floor renovations. They provided an easy to understand
estimate, ordered and delivered all of the materials, and did a
beautiful job with the repairs (basically a rebuild) to the fireplace.
They are the best and we would recommend them to anyone needing gas logs
or a fireplace built in their homes.

The pilot light would not stay lit. They arrived promptly, fixed the problem, and also cleaned off some film that had built up on the glass.

They are very clean, prompt, low key and make me feel very comfortable. Kim talked me through turning the pilot light back on in the fall because I was nervous about. I've been using them for about 9 or 10 years.
