I took my sons car to princess and spoke with the owner Don about having a bad actuator replaced in the dash. Don had his mechanic take a look at it and charged me $97 just to tell me what I already knew was bad. He then called me a few hours later to tell me that the actuator that was bad out of the three the vehicle contains was the hardest one to get to and it would cost $770 to replace. After checking with the Chevy dealership service department to see what their cost wise which was $200 higher than Princes, I decided to go ahead and have the work done. He called me when it was done My son then went down to pick up the car. My son called me when he got home and told me that the airbag check light had come on. I then called John and told him the airbag light was on and he said to bring it back down he could take a look at it. My son started the car again and said the light was no longer on so I called Don and he told me it probably corrected it self. He said if it came back on again to let him know when he would take a look at it. After about four or five days I called him because the light had come back on my son also had noticed that the steering column cover was hanging up part. Don told me to bring the car down so he could look at the light and see why the airbag light was on. So I had my son drive it down with my wife and they dropped it off. After about 2 to 3 hours Don called my cell phone and told me I have bad news that the clock spring for the airbag was bad and needed to be replaced. He also told me that it was going to cost another $480 to replace it not including the $93 he was charging me for looking at it. I couldn't believe I was getting charge $93 for him looking at a park that wasn't bad until after his mechanic worked on the car. He told my wife that they never went into the steering column. When my wife pointed out the steering column cover was broken and a part he then changed his tune and said well we did poop in the steering column but we didn't go into where the clock spring is. My wife kept telling Dunn how she thought it was awfully coincidental that we never had a problem with the clock spring airbag airbag light steering column cover or anything besides the actuator until his mechanic touch the car. After going back-and-forth with him Don finally said no charge I'm not going to charge you my wife responded and said oh no will pay for what you've done even though we don't feel like we should have to because we thought since you worked on it and we told you about it that day that you would do it as a courtesy. Don then responded and said no charge I'm not charging you and ripped up the invoice he also told us that it had taken him 2 1/2 hours of work just to find out that it was the clock spring. I'm not really sure how he can justify 2 1/2 hours of labor and then dock in our of the labor down to $93 for doing nothing more than hooking up a computer that told him what the problem was. Not only that now I'm left with a broken clock spring that I am more than confident his mechanic broke at some point during taking the dashboard apart and the steering column apart and on top of that I now have a broken steering column cover that all the clips are busted probably because the mechanic did not know How to take it apart properly without breaking it. I will never go back to this place for the rest of my life I would take all of my vehicles somewhere else I will also do my due diligence to make sure that every body I come in contact with knows exactly how this man does business with his customers and the type of mechanics and the workmanship that he's hiring under his name. Absolutely disgusted with this business I should've known better when I took my Honda pilot there a year ago to have the rotors turned just to have the problem start back up two months later. Trust me people do yourself a favor do your checkbook a favor stay away from this business they are shysters with the best of them buyer beware !!!

I spoke to the owner Don about my 2005 Toyota 4Runner having electrical problems as light bulbs burning out rather quickly and possible fuses burning out but didn't find that particular problem. I also complained about a rattling noise occurring as I drive the vehicle and asked if he could look into this as well. Also noted, I had a remote start installed in the vehicle around 2009. He told me that there's a charge of $179 to look into this problem.  Later in the day I received a call from Don stating that in order to correct the problem, he would need to have his mechanic remove the remote start from the vehicle.  I agreed to this request and so I picked up the vehicle later that day after the work was completed.  After a couple days, my wife noticed that the automatic doors won't unlock after the hitting the unlock button on the original remote.  I came back to the shop and expressed the problem with Don. Not to mention, he kept the remote start that I could of sold to someone else nor did he offer to give it back.  I asked if there was any type of warranty with the work done on the vehicle and he simply said no and that in fact would charge me $50 to have his mechanic take a look.  I told him that since the job was done here and now there's a problem with the electrical, why should I have to pay and that I'm surprised there's no warranty for the work.  At this point, I was so disappointed and disgusted with the service at Prince's Tire and Auto Shop,Inc. I will NEVER do business with this shop nor will I recommend it to others!!!

In this instant, I was out of town in South Carolina.  My car had just been serviced by Don and his team.  I had a tune-up completed to include new spark plugs and spark plug wires.  My car is old: 183K miles.  It was time for something to go out.  So, while everything checked out ok for my trip to SC, about a week in my engine began sparking off of itself.  I took it to a local mechanic in SC and called Don.  Don was willing to cover the cost of the repair if it was something his team had done.  It turned out not to be related to their work.  Even after that, Don was willing to cover the cost of the tow.  Additionally, I felt confident about having that repair shop in SC complete the work, because Don took the time to talk to them for me.  He got a good understanding of what was going on with the car and put it in layman's terms for me.
This is just one example of the many, I could have provided where Don and his team at Prince's Tire and Auto have done an oustanding job in both workmanship and customer service.  I have been taking my car to Prince's since I moved to Glen Burnie in 2009.  They came recommended to me and I haven't been anywhere else.  I recommend them to anyone who wants a fair and honest auto mechanic.

.The service was great.  I have nothing but nice things to say.  I had another estimate and called Prince's just to compare prices.  I brought my car down to there shop and the promptly looked at it and diagnosed the problem which ended up needing just an adjustment, not a replacement like the other shop indicated.  They not only adjusted my brakes but they also repaired a leak in my exhaust and did an oil change, all for $150.00 less than what the first shop quoted me just for the brakes.  I picked up the car and have to say that all the noises are gone and it runs like it did years ago.  The customer service was nice and courteous.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.  They are my new repair shop for sure.
