GENE LILLY POOLS & SPAS

It was easy to work with them. We inherited a hot tub of unknown origen when we bought our house. It needed a new cover, chemicals, etc. We have never had one before and had no clue how to care for it. So, we called Gene Lilly. They had us bring in a water sample and talked us through loads of stuff - fixing the current water problem, dealing with foam, cleaning and maintaining the tub... they sold us some chemicals but gave us cleaning advice and foam advice that did not necessitate buying from them. They talked us through measuring for the new cover and what cover to get to minimize energy costs, ...It was a good experience.

The people know how to keep your pool running great and they don't try to sell you on anything you dont need. The parts department will tell you how to make repairs yourself saving big money. Their advice has always been helpful.

They were on time. We had two back-to-back blizzards. With too much snow on the cover and without a proper tie-down it collapsed. We called them back when that happened. They said they had forgotten the tie-down. They will be coming again to open the pool. They have put us first on the list now. They said since they had forgotten to come out earlier they had put us first this season. They are very good.

They are an excellent company. I've been with a lot of other companies and they only try to sell you products. This company only cares about making sure that your pool is right. Their simple philosophy is that if they take care of your pool, you will keep coming back. They are right. Most of the other companies only use temporary help and this company uses the same people year round. A lot of the pool companies just more or less go out of business during the winter, but Gene Lilly stays in business through the year. Their people are year round employees so I know when I go in there they know exactly what I need. It is just not somebody they hired for the season. These are people that know pools inside and out. Without a doubt they have the best expertise and they will actually tell you exactly what you need. They don't sell you a bunch of unwanted stuff that you are sitting on at the end of the year and goes bad. It is not a salesmanship issue. They don't ever try to overprice sell you anything. Sometimes I have asked if there was something else and they will say that I don't need that. They are just that way and I talked to them about that. They said their whole mission is to make sure that they take the best care. They test your pool water for free. It is just a great place. Everybody is personable and friendly. They know me by name when I walk in. They get to know their people after awhile. It's a great place to do business.

I LOVE THIS STORE. IT IS FAMILY OWNED AND VERY FRIENDLY. I PURCHASED A CUSTOMIZED POOL COVER FOR MY INGROUND POOL. I ONLY WISH THEY COULD SERVICE MY POOL AS WELL, BUT THEY DO NOT SERVICE IN GROUND POOLS. GREAT COMPANY.
