This is the third project this company has done at my home; the first over 20 years ago. So refreshing to find a company that retains high standards over an extended period. And, gives you the most reasonable price for the scope of work. If you want skilled professionals that only use quality material and do quality work--you want this company. Reliable, trustworthy and quality work. Can't ask for more than that!

The GW Pope team is very skilled in both laying floors and refinishing floors. They are meticulous, ensuring that the floor looks amazing. Their estimated time is very accurate. All the teams that have been in my home are very professional and courteous, as well as very skilled.

Fantastic - I could not be happier with Jimmy and Stan.  Excellent work, courteous and punctual. Removal took 1/2 a day and installation of approx. 640 sq ft of flooring and trim took 2 more days. I will be happy to use them again and will recommend them to all.

Work was done on time and in a professional manner. The workmen were very respectful and hard working. A good experience.

Met with Gary within a day of contacting him for an estimate on the work needed. The estimate was exactly what we paid since our floors were in good shape underneath the carpet. We had our red oak floors sanded and refinished to natural and they are stunningly beautiful! There was never any mess left behind and they worked with our schedule. They were scheduled to finish the job on a Saturday and then we had family members offer to help us paint that day, so gw pope gladly offered to finish on Monday instead. We appreciated them working with our schedule. They instructed us on how to maintain the floors and were always available whenever I called. We had a great experience, our floors look amazing and we feel the cost was fair and appropriate, especially for the size of the rooms that were done. Will recommend them to all our friends and use them in the future when our floors need refreshing!

From the very start Mr Pope and his employees were friendly, helpful and answered all of the questions we had. They were extremely proffesional and arrived exactly the time they said they would, Helped us move furniture , advised us about what to expect dust wise, They then sealed every doorway to stop dust from spreading through out the house. Laid the new floor and sanded and prepapred ,cleaned up after them and did not leave even the smallest peice of wood or any dust. On their return they coated the floor and made a perfect match between the new and existing floor to the point it is impossible to tell the difference.
On arriving the 2nd time there was one board that was "Blonde" it showed white and did not match the rest, without hesitation they stained and matched it to the rest of the floor,  They then fitted the shoe molding which also matched perfect , cleaned the entire area and at all times were professional helpful , willing to do what ever extra we asked and I have no hesitation in recomending GW POPE.
It was so refreshing to find an "Old school" company who took pride in their work,, would settle for nothing less than  perfect and who priced the job fairly, We had five qoutes and GW pope came in with the next to lowest quote.
I would like to take this oppurtunity to thank the guys who did the work, Mr Pope for being on top of it as all times, He came several times to check on the progress and was at all times friendly, proffesional and proud of the work he was doing.

OVER-ALL EXCELLENT. THEY CAME ONE WEEK BEFORE TO DROP OFF THE WOOD SO IT COULD EXPAND TO THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HOUSE. THEY CAME DESPITE THE SNOW AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN ONE DAY.
