Annual service. Punctual, Clean and the cost are consistent with most providers.

They are very slow to respond to requests. I never had water come into my chimney until Complete Chimney installed the liner. I then had water coming in and they were very slow to respond. The resurfaced crown leaked and they said it was out of warranty even though they caused problem. They had no interest in fixing the problem they created. They missed arrival time windows without any notification to me that they would be late. I will not rehire this company.

I found complete chimneys, based on their estimate, and was exceptionally disappointed. First person who came did about half of what was on estimate. Apparently didn’t know what was on the estimate and left. Basically a half done job. Repaired the crown, but was supposed to replaced all damaged mortar and bricks on chimney. By replace mortar I mean grind out the mortar and put in new mortar. Didn’t do squat. After 2 months of complaints they sent their top guy to do it right, he came smeared some mortar in some cracks. Didn’t remove any bricks didn’t grind any mortar out. Didn’t use kind of waterproof material they contracted to apply. Didn’t add number of coats they promised. I just had original inspector out. Didn’t tell him anything. Just asked him to inspect again. He looked at chimney and asked me when I was having repairs done. Apparently no repair work was visible. All of the brick and mortar replacement needed to be done still. All of the so called repairs have washed off already. I now have a contract with another provider.

We had originally contacted this company to simply clean our chimney and to put our chimney cap back in place, since we have had birds in our chimney for two years, and we wanted to begin using our fireplace. When they came for the cleaning, they recommended that we install a cleanout door on the exterior of the chimney, so that the ash and soot would be removed through the outside. We arranged for a second appointment to have the door installed. The job and crew were professional. We are pleased with the result, and intend to hire them to restore our fireplace blower to good working order sometime in the near future.

The company came out within a few days of my call. Mark T inspected and cleaned the chimney (which wasn't that dirty, as it turned out), and took pictures of the metal stack and the exterior of the fireplace stack. They recommended replacing the 4 refractory panels for approximately $1800. They pointed out warping on the metal stack, which he said might not be an immediate problem but would need to be addressed at some point as it would just continue to get worse. He also said that the chase cover at the top, exterior of the fireplace stack should be replaced. I got a second and third opinion. Both those providers said that the refractory panels are cosmetic only since the entire firebox is metal, and that the price would probably be about $400, not $1800. They also looked at the photos provided by Complete Chimney, and said that the 'warping' that Mark T pointed out was not warping...just normal coloration of the stack and not an issue. They said the chase cover was rusting, but not falling apart and was not any kind of safety hazard. while this company did the initial cleaning I requested, I feel like they were trying to push me to see problems where none existed in the hope that I would have them install a new gas fireplace.

Great! I wish both cleaning & repair could have been done at same time, but otherwise the work was great!

The foreman and crew were polite and courteous promptly performing the work. I had concerns with the flashing so the manager came out to inspect the work and all the flashing was preplaced. The chimney looks great.

The techs that came our were thorough and professional and wonderful.  They were VERY clean and you would not have known they were there.  They not only cleaned but inspected the outside and made clear recommendations to us since we had moisture inside the chimney which was perpetuating the smell.  They gave us several options on how to fix that issue along with a possible wood burning insert which we have been considering.  They were fast, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable without any pressure.  I had hoped to be able to get this for closer to $150 but they still performed a good service for $202.

In spite of the lifetime warranty which I received when I purchased the gutter guard ;  I was told that the new owner does not honor any of the old warranties  - in fact they  bought the  prior company assets but do not want to honor the company responsibilities.  The original company was called  Complete Chimneys Inc.  the new company which is keeping the same telephone number is called Complete Chimneys LLC.  They offered to come out and see what the problem is for a $161 charge.  Why would anyone go to a company that wants to capitalize on a company's past good reputation but then not honor those old obligations.

I have both an open hearth fireplace on my first floor and a wood stove in my basement.

My house was built to code back in 2002 when chimney liners for wood stoves were not required.

Now chimney liners are required for wood stoves placed in new homes.

Since I use my wood stove extensively in the winter months, I decided to minimize the risk of fire

by having a stainless steel liner placed in the wood stove?s chimney.

I gathered three quotes, one was half the cost of the other two, while the two others, who have been in business for a number of years were much higher but within $10 of each other.

Of the three, I had a much higher comfort level with Complete Chimneys after speaking with Matt and Dan.

I believe the materials they use, although similar to other companies, are of a higher quality.

The entire process took about 3 ½ to 4 hours.  There was some tricky maneuvering that needed to be done in order to move the new liner down the chimney and finally attached to the adapter, but with Matt and Dan?s years of experience they always had a trick to help the process along.  After placement of the liner, they filled the surrounding space, between the liner and terracotta (clay tile) inside the chimney, with insulation.  The insulation is hand mixed and is specifically for chimneys.

Note: I didn?t go with the lower quote because I didn?t have the same comfort level that the job would have been done correctly or without damaging my existing fireplace.  Also, for the lower price, I can?t  imagine they intended to place insulation between the liner and the clay chimney tiles.

Finally, Matt and Dan, with Complete Chimneys, were great!  They did an excellent job of installing, were neat and did not damage a thing.  I am very comfortable that I picked the right team for the job!

Dennis and Brian were very responsive. I got quotes from a few different chimney repair companies, and Dennis seemed to be the most knowledgeable. The price was competitive. We received $250 off for being Angie's List members (coupon). We'd use them again.

Great. Came on a Saturday to measure, give me an estimate and explain installation process.  About a week later they returned to install on the day they said they would.  No problems, courteous office staff and installers.

I was given an estimate and services were explained. We then set up an appointment for the work to be completed. Joey came on time, completed the work effectively, and cleaned up the area. He was thorough and friendly.

I have been using this company since we moved into our house in 2007.  They are reliable and efficient with the cleaning process.  I have also used them to inspect another fireplace in the living room.  We have since converted that to gas. They have also in the past  replaced the interior pipe for the wood burning stove.   I have been satisfied with their service and their price is comparable to other companies that perform this same service.  I have no complaints at all and would recommend to others.

They came twice and did a partial fix, but the chimney was still leaking. They ended up coming a 3rd time and doing a complete fix on the chimney at no extra cost. They were very prompt and courteous. I was very pleased with the work. Within the 15 years we have used them, they have changed owners and workers, but they still product quality work.

They went up on the roof and checked everything out. They vacuumed out the chimney and appeared to know what they were doing. They were very business like, and were in and out of the chimney very quickly.
