Tennant called on a Friday night at 5:15 reporting that she smelled GAS and BG&E shut off gas service. Called Allteck at 5:30 and they made a call to the house 8:15 am Saturday (next) morning. Technician diagnosed problem as faulty fuel valve and replaced Monday morning first thing. After replacement he noted irregularities with flames in furnace and noted high levels of CO2. New diagnosis of cracked heat exchanger. Replaced furnace and was able to install chimney liner without removing sheetrock in front of chimney as originally anticipated. Thought process of diagnosis, costs for options of intervention and work were explained carefully. Work done when I was told it would be.

They determined that the A/C compressor needed replacing. They claimed to place a call to a distributor to find out if compressor was under warranty, and then claimed that compressor was not under warranty, which turned out to be untrue. They recommended replacing an A/C unit, A/C coil, and furnace. None of this was necessary. They claimed that basement duct work was oversized, which turned out to be untrue. They wanted to charge $7200.00 for unnecessary work.

THE COMPANY PROVIDED PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL SERVICE & THE CORRECT INFORMATION TO MAKE AN INFORMED PURCHASE OF A NEW WATER HEATER. THEY INSTALLED IT TO THE LATEST COUNTY CODE REQUIREMENTS.
