ACME PLUMBING

Acme Plumbing first helped us try to figure out if the heater was under warranty and would be fixed by manufacturer for free. (We moved into the house last year, so we had imperfect documentation about the heater.) When we found out that the water heater was just out of warranty, Acme Plumbing sent someone out. He figured out it was a dirty sensor. He cleaned the sensor and we had hot water again. What a relief!

Shawn came out on time and fix the leak efficiently. Plus he did the work in less time then what was quoted..

I continue to use them. They are usually pretty prompt. They have been with me since 1982. They don't always get it right the first time, but they always get it corrected. Their pricing is pretty good.

The bathroom sink was draining very slowly and needed to be snaked. We called Acme and scheduled an appointment for the next day for the 11-1 window. The tech arrived 40 minutes past the window. He brought in his mechanical snake, but unfortunately it was broken, although he said it had been working the previous day. He tried to fix the machine, but was unable to do so. He then tried snaking the drain manually and luckily the clog wasn't too far in and he was able to clear the clog and get the sink draining again.

They seemed pretty helpful. It was nothing special. They are pretty good and do the job. Their prices are reasonable. They are expensive but other places might even charge more. They were pretty trustworthy and won't do things that aren't necessary. They get the job done and their prices are in the ballpark.

Everything goes great. I like them a lot and have been using them for years. They are very responsive, come quickly in emergencies, and the work is usually done right the very first time. They also know what kind of appliances I have so they always have the parts readily available.

They were able to correct the problem. They were fine and did not have any difficulty with them. Overall they were good.

I was very pleased. They took care of the leak that was in my upstairs bathroom very quickly and professionally. They cleaned up well.

It went good overall. I thought replacing a water heater would be messy, but it was a fairly clean job. I got an experienced plumber who completed the work in 1.5 hours. Of course he said it was an easy install because everything lined up. The price was a little higher than other estimates, but since my unit was starting to leak I picked a company who could do the work sooner. Punctuality wasn't the greatest. I was given a window of 8-10 am for the start of work but I got a call at 9:45 am that the plumber would be late. The plumber showed up at 10:30 am. I understood when he said he had to take care of an emergency task first thing. I wish I was called a little sooner.

Called office on Tuesday morning and the phone was answered by a real person,not a machine. An appointment was scheduled for Wed morning. I was delighted given that this was not an emergency. The plumber arrived a few minutes early. Although we had purchased 3 potential replacement knob sets, none would fit. He had a set in his truck that did fit which avoided a rush trip to the hardware store. He quickly finished the project, caulked around the repaired knobs and left everything as clean as when he arrived. He was courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this company!

Acme accommodated our schedules and sent out Ed at the time promised. He diagnosed the problem, went out to get the part, returned, and finished the job in a very short period of time. You wouldn't have known he was in the house/bathroom-great job cleaning up. Thanks.

They did a great job. I was very happy with them. They were very conscientious. It worked like a champ but they did say that they would come and fix it if it had problems. They were very punctual and arrived on time.

I called Acme plumbing in the morning, explained the work that needed to be done and they said they would check with and get back to me to schedule the project. They called back within an hour and were able to schedule the work for that same afternoon. The plumber, Paul, arrived with a helper right on time. He was pleasant, courteous and went right to work. The installation job was very well done and they left the room neat and clean.

Ed and Paul arrived and quickly pinpointed it as the gasket in the first floor toilet was leaking. They did not have the part but rescheduled. Upon removing the toilet, there was another problem with the flange so they had to reschedule - but in the interim I had asked if we should just go ahead and replace the toilet (they had pointed out a hairline crack that could be a future problem). When they returned, they fixed the flange with a little ingenuity and now everything works perfectly.

It went very well. I called for service on a Wednesday, and got an appointment for that Friday. When we called for service, we were told that the repair person would arrive between 11am and 1pm. Mr. Beavers himself arrived at 11am. I was thrilled at that! He came in looked at the shower head and the sink and repaired them rather quickly. He showed my husband what he was doing and pointed out things that we should do in the future. He was friendly and professional, and I would not hesitate to call Acme Plumbing again.

Plumber was supposed to arrive between 8-10 AM. At about 9:30 AM the office called to advise of late arrival at about 11 AM. Technician arrived within the new time frame and proceeded to effect repairs quickly, efficiently and carefully.

They arrived quickly and fixed the issue I was having. They take care of the problem quickly even if they have to come back to perform a long term fix.

THE COMPANY CAME OUT AND DISCOVERED THE LEAK WAS THE DISHWASHER AND DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR ANYTHING. OFFERED TO COME BACK OUT AND INSTALL THE NEW ONE FOR A GOOD PRICE HE GAVE ME IN WRITING
