Restore Computer Repair

I was beginning to think I would never get the files from my old hard drive onto my laptop. This store did it and even had to install Word because my old files used Word. I am so very, very pleased with the work. I would definitely recommend this computer store to anyone who has computer troubles.

I called today and they said it still wasn't ready. They told me a few days however it appears its going to be more like a week. I spent $121 getting the issue resolved through another provider.

I felt I was in good hands to replace the hard drive in my 2-year-old HP desktop.  Clearly explained the replacement options (I went with a solid state drive for about $150 above a conventional magnetic drive).  They found the old drive was too badly damaged to be cloned to the new one, so contacted me about which files were most important to try to retrieve.  They were eventually able to pull those off, though it took several days.  Soon after getting the machine back, it began acting very strangely and would run most of the programs I had re-installed on it.  They took it back, tested the drive, and determined (by process of elimination) that the problem likely was caused by the antivirus software I'd reinstalled.  The Windows 7 OS had gotten compromised, so they did a clean install and again copied over my data files.  Although the OS problem was definitely not their fault, and not directly related to the hard drive replacement, they were extremely gracious about taking it back in and then charged me nothing for the second stint in the shop.   That was a very generous interpretation of their 30-day warranty policy; I neither expected nor asked for that but definitely appreciated it.  Both stints in the shop took a little longer than they had expected but I completely understood given the nature of the problems.

They were great.  Very pleasant and the pricing seems fair.  Each time I went it was a $99 flat fee for any work they needed to do with about half paid up front.  Everyone there seems knowledgeable and friendly and I completely trust them with my computer (and in turn personal information since it is on the computer).  I did a lengthy search for computer repair because I was worried about finding a place I could trust.  If you're the same, then I'd say this is your place.  
I did give them a B in punctuality -- not because they have ever been late with my completed computer but because I would love it if they could move things along a little faster.  Each time I've been there, they've had my computer for about a week.  That seems to be the standard time frame as I believe they do a first-in-first-out type of process.  
Overall though, VERY happy with their work and the price and will go back if I need any future repairs.

Everything went seamlessly.  I was willing to wait until Monday to get my machine back, but, since the solution was simple, the work was done in plenty of time.  I appreciated the fact that I was not led to believe that there was some mysterious virus or other issue that created an unnecessary expense.  This will be my go-to place for repairs and advice from now on.

These guys are the best! My son's very expensive gaming laptop started freaking out so I called them took it in and was told it could be one of the video cards going bad which would be an expensive repair. Well when they called back and said everything was fine and all they could find wrong was that dog hair(from my golden) had slowed down the fan! 65 dollars later my son was back at WOW and having a ball!

Very well, arrived on time. Got me back up and running in no time.

My daughter was working on a huge school project when her laptop simply stopped taking a charge. Not only that, it wouldn't run on AC power either. Naturally, she hadn't saved all of the project to the Cloud or to portable media, so she was in a little trouble. We brought the unit in on March 14 , 2015 for evaluation. We were told in advance that they were backed up, and it could take a week rather than their usual couple of days. We asked them to transfer the data to another medium if they couldn't make the repair, and they agreed. 
I'm sure that there are exceptions to this, but the rate schedule looks mostly like this: $99 flat rate plus parts. They take $40 down when you drop off the unit. If they can't fix it, then that's all you pay. Otherwise you pay whatever balance remains when you pick it up again. 
Fast forward a week (21st) and I hadn't heard anything. Under ordinary circumstances that's not really a problem but the school project deadline is looming ever larger. I stopped in to see what the status of the job was. I was told that it was on the bench, and they'd do the best they could to finish by Monday. Since my daughter's project is due on Wednesday, that's not a big window for her to finish up. If we brought them some transfer media, however, they'd be happy to copy the files over and finish at a more leisurely pace. We agreed, and ran out to pick up a flash drive. 
Before we got to the store, however, Restore called us back and told me that, because of the school project, they were committing themselves to finishing the job that day, even if it meant staying late. Sure enough, I got a call about ten minutes after their official closing time letting me know that I could come get the repaired computer. Thanks so much! My daughter's grade is saved! I've already recommended this company to friends of mine.

Great!!! They were prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They charge a flat labor rate of $99 for whatever they have to do. My PC now runs super fast and all the issues were resolved. They gave me a discount on purchasing some very reasonably priced anti-virus software. Even though it was just after Thanksgiving, the repair took only one day longer than their estimate. They also offer one-day service for an extra charge.
I would absolutely use this company again and highly recommend them. They are a local business and have a great customer service orientation.

I brought my computer to restore computer repair. For a very reasonable and competitive fee they installed a new hard drive in my computer within 4 days. They could not have made it easier for me. They called when it was done and I came right in and picked up my computer. My only complaint is that when they reinstalled the operating system they changed my user name and password. This would not have been a problem except that they could not tell me what they had changed it to and it took me several days to get back into my computer.

Wow! These folks are great! They worked and worked to get my laptop up and running correctly! They are professional, stay in touch, and explain all the steps they are doing during the repair.. So glad I found them!

They were quick, they charge a small fee to expedite, and very friendly.

They did a great job. I was prepared to give up on my computer and start shopping for a new one. Restore Computer Repair brought it back from the brink. They identified several viruses, removed them, installed new free virus protection software, and I have had no problems since they fixed it. It took them two weeks -- a bit longer than I expected -- but I can't complain since the computer is in great shape now! They were very friendly and professional.
