MR TIRE AUTO SERVICE CENTERS

We went in for the tire rotation and balancing and it went well, but then after that was finished, they gave us a list of things that needed to be done. I felt like these were unnecessary items, so I took the car to my personal mechanic, who told me I did not need them. This was the second time that this happened under the same circumstances.

It didn't work out that well. I was overcharged for them. When I checked the bill, I was charged for a service warranty that I told them that I specifically did not want. I went back and they said they would take it off. They didn't so I went back again a couple of months later and they finally took it off. I was happy with the service and with what I purchased but I wasn't happy that the guy charged me for something that I didn't really want. I probably wouldn't recommend them or use them again. The price included the mounting and everything I needed for purchasing tires. I made an appointment.

My cost was only for an allignment.  Their conscientious approach saved me over $500.  This is a high volume operation and for major work you want an appointment.  I will continue to patronize Mr. Tire for brakes, suspension work and tires.

I had called a few days ahead to get Yokohama tires for my 2004 Matrix and was told that the tire was in stock and on sale for "buy three get one free". I was scheduled for an appointment on Saturday at 7:30. When I got to the store the manager told me that the tire for my car was not in stock and also not on sale but that he could give me a set of Bridgestones that were very good quality and in stock and on sale. The price was only $40 less than the estimate given me at NTB down the street but since I was strapped for time I agreed to the Bridgestone tires. After all what do I know from one tire to another. The manager then went on to tell me that my car needed several other services. I had just had the car into the dealership for the 25000 mile service package and told him that I did not think there was anything that needed done. They put the tires on and I paid the bill which turned out to be $661.92 and I left the store. I only realized that I had been charged for the alignment after reviewing the service ticket a day later. The extra service came to just over $89. The estimate from NTB included the alignment and totaled $593.75. I feel that there was a bit of a "bait and switch" tactic and that the companies pitch should be "On The Rim & Out The Door...Except for ....." Ordinarily, I would just dismiss the extra $68 as the price of being in a rush. However, when the desk help addressed me as "Honey", I can't ignore the lack of respect for the customer!

I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK THERE FOR FUTURE WORK. THEY WERE NICE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, & FRIENDLY. THEY TREATED ME LIKE FAMILY & MADE SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS SAFE.

I HAD TROUBLE GETTING A RETURN PHONECALL WHEN USING THE ONLINE REQUEST FORM. THE SERVICE WAS FINE ONCE WE GOT OUR APPOINTMENT. THE PRICE IS GUARANTEED TO BE THE LOWEST. I LIKED THAT THE PRICE QUOTED WAS 'ON THE RIM AND OUT THE DOOR.' IT KEPT ME FROM HAVING TO SECOND GUESS LABOR COSTS, ETC.
