Communication was very good from getting the estitmate to completion.
Highly recommend.
This was one of the most positive experiences we have ever had with a service provider and we've had some good ones in the past. Once he and his crew began the work, they came every day until the job was complete. Each day, they cleaned up after themselves and restored the main living areas to their original condition so that we could "live" in the space. The quality of their work was top notch, their attention to detail was amazing, every detail was addressed, and the final result is everything we hoped for.
I would not hesitate to use Jeff and his company again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone!
We agreed on a date and time and Jeff provided us with a complete outline as to when he would start, what would be the effort each day and when they would complete the job.
Jeff and his crew arrived punctually each and every day and completed the same time each day. Jeff and his crew made this a seamless effort on our part in that they broke down each room including moving and covering furniture, removing blinds/drapes, removing cover plates and then put it all back by end of day as if they had not been there but the room was finished. Jeff and his entire crew are professional, easy to deal with, friendly, concerned about our inconvenience while they were in the house and made every effort to make us comfortable while they were doing their work.
Bottom line is they were just amazing in their work and professionalism.
Jeff and Erin and their team were great to work with. They removed wallpaper and painted for us during our recent kitchen remodel. They worked around our kitchen remodeling schedule to get the job done. We can?t say enough about the quality of their work and their great work ethics. We have already recommended them to our friends and would not hesitate to use them for any work in the future.
It was a good bit of work, my house is oddly shaped, and it took his team a couple of weeks. They did a terrific job of being very careful to keep the area clean, remove items in their way and carefully put them back, and left me with a professional and high quality paint job.
I'd hire Jeff again in a heartbeat. Recommending him to everyone I know!
I had 3 top Angie's List companies provide quotes. One was extremely high, unsure what they were quoting. Another sent out someone to take the quote and I had to pester them to send it to me (I hate that). When they sent it to me it was blank so I had to again request they send it filled out with numbers on it.
Jeff did everything right and turned around the quote quickly.
I guess in trying to sum this up, I never go the feeling Jeff didn't want to work with me. He was positive and excited to be working on the project and I felt I could trust him within minutes of meeting him. And he didn't let me down.
1/17/16 Jeff came back again to fix some drywall tape that had come loose on a bathroom ceiling from when we had installed a bathroom exhaust fan. He mudded over the tape and then repainted the ceiling with a better paint more suited for bathroom moisture than what I had originally used. I had used a flat paint on the ceiling but it turns out it's better to use something with at least a little sheen to help block out the moisture. Looks great! Thanks Jeff!!
We have a rather large house (nearly 4,000 sq/ft), and they were thorough in estimating the amount of paint needed and the time it would take in completing the job. Jeff was open and honest about what it would take to get the job done right.
They quoted a fair price, stuck to it, and went above and beyond at every stage.
Once we settled on a price and start date, they worked professionally and were always on time. They even had onther job finish early, so they got started on our prep work early.
If they had any questions or concerns, they made sure to consult us on what the best approach would be.
The work itself was well done and very professional. They worked quickly and had the job done on time.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. We'll certainly use them again.
Jeff painted while talking on his cell phone about upcoming jobs. I made him and his son lunch since he forgot to pack something. I got the impression that Jeff''s work schedule is very, very full. Looking back, it could have been the reason he behaved as he did. However, he never made any attempt to call me or to rectify the situation.
I really wanted to use Jeff because of his good ratings on Angie''s List, but my experience was not the same as those who gave him high reviews. Believe me, I wanted everything to go well, but Jeff ended up being a huge letdown. I called Jeff and still pursued his services even after all the phone tag and no show for the initial estimate. When Jeff did come to my home for an estimate, I was very specific about what I expected. My living room walls and ceiling did need a lot of love, and so I clearly stated to Jeff the prep work I wanted him to do. I like thorough prepping of walls, ceiling, and trim. I expected this to be part of the job and let Jeff know so he could charge me accordingly.
On the first day of painting Jeff and his charming son painted all my trim. However, by the end of that first day Jeff had done basically no patching up. Before Jeff left my home, he said he would be back for a second and final day with his crew to finish painting and repairing the two holes where the light fixtures used to be. At that point it was evident that Jeff was not going to be as particular about prepping the ceiling/walls and newly installed trim work as I had asked. So before he came back to finish, I spackled and sanded the walls and ceilings and filled in some holes on the trim work. I found other low quality issues here and there and repaired them as well. On the second day, Jeff arrived before the rest of his crew. I went outside and asked Jeff if I could speak to him privately before the others showed up. I really didn't want Jeff's son to hear me express my disappointment over the drips, lack of patching up on my walls, ceiling and trim work. I showed Jeff the areas where he would need to repaint because of the holes I patched. I also showed Jeff pictures on my cell phone of puddled paint on top of my plinths and explained how I had to dig it out, repair and repaint them so that he could remain on schedule. No apologies, no comment that he would be more careful, nothing. In fact, Jeff got indignant and irritated. Then the real deal breaker came when I pointed out to Jeff the paint on the side of one of the plantation shutters I just had installed. I asked Jeff if he could be more careful when painting the dining room window trim because I didn't want paint on the new shutters in that room. Jeff boldly replied that I was being picky for pointing out the paint on the shutter. He said he could not see the paint and claimed it was unnoticeable. I shined a light on the shutter for his benefit only, since I could see the paint in the natural lighting. He then clapped his hands together and said in these exact words, "Well, I have to be honest with you, I can't guarantee I won't get paint on your shutters."
Very unprofessional Jeff. Had you responded differently, I would've let you finished painting. But no one is coming into my home as a paid professional and disrespecting me and my belongings. Sure, those plantations shutters were overpriced Jeff, but you didn't pay for them.....I did.
Jeff and his team are incredible! The utmost professionals. We have used them many times over the last 8 years and they always exceed expectations. The current project was a rental property in which the departing tenants were still occupying the property and Jeff handled the situation with care and respect, even though one of the tenants was less than cooperative.
Quality of work is always a given. I have always found Jeff would rather not take on a project unless he can do a quality job. Case in point, one wall had water damage and a small amount of moisture on the inside of the drywall underneath the old pealing paint. Instead of just painting over it and moving on Jeff cleaned up the damage to allow adequate drying and committed to coming back another day to finish the project. Many contractors I have dealt with in the past would not have done that.
One of the most powerful selling points of Jeff's team is his interior designer. She has impeccable taste and skill, so much that we just provide general objectives and delegate the actual selection of colors and design to her. She always does a better job than we could ever do. With Jeff and Team, you hire a high quality contractor and get design and space advice as part of the package; WHAT A BARGAIN!
I will never use another contractor!
