Charles Nusinov's at 8720 Satyr Hill Rd, 21234 broke my watch ?I went there to get my watch battery replaced but instead they broke it and will not own up to the fact that they ruined it. I've been a long time customer since the 90's when I bought my wife's engagement ring there and had many other jewelry items repaired along the way. I considered these folks trustworthy and very knowledgeable. Today, I no longer have such high praise for them; their commitment to customer satisfaction is no longer. My
battery was totally discharged; they neglected to tell me that they did not know how to repair my watch, all they saw was the gold literally. In exchange for my gold, I got a watch battery which turned out to be a broken mess. A day later, the glass started to build a haze on the inside, I thought it was from being in and out of air conditioned rooms and the heat from outside. But the haze turned out to be condensation, so I returned to ask what they did to my watch. The same sales lady came over, looked at my watch, she immediately claimed that I somehow ruined it. I told them that Nuinov's was the only ones who touched it in the 5 years of owning it. After some back and forth and long waiting (I was the only customer in the store), the sales lady told me that the repair person did not put back on the gasket but that I was the one to blame for wearing out the gasket and getting it wet- I told her that I do not even wear it when I wash my hands. Long story short, the only thing they could do is leave it open and let it air out. She went on to say that I should have brought it to a ?divers? watch repair in the first place, I told her that it is not a diver?s
watch, I asked how much or if the gasket could be replaced and she just told me to go back to the manufacturer. Unbelievable!
I'm very angry to say the least of how I was treated and the level of customer service was awful. Now I am left without a wearable watch. So I will be sure to pass my negative review onto everyone I know and other review sites so
others will not be preyed upon by these unscrupulous people/company.
