The original unit in my house was a wet/dry combination central vacuum system.  The motor on my central vacuum system would not start.  Richard Smith (owner) can prepared to identify the problem and replace the motor if needed.  Turns out that because I had not had instructions on routine maintenance, I had burned out the motor.  I told Richard that I had never used the wet feature and I was not happy with the suction power.  He checked all the outlets and the piping in the original installation and pointed out several flaws that were likely the result of installation by other that a central vac specialist.  He discussed my alternatives and the costs for each.  He brought in units to demonstrate the difference in suction an upgrade in the size of the motor would make.  I elected to replace the unit with a new system.  Richard replaced with unit 2 days later.  He came me ample verbal and written instructions. He removed the old unit and all related installation materials.  I am completely satisfied with the new unit and the service received.

They were very good. He was very knowledgeable and did a thorough assessment of what is working and not. So he knew exactly what needed to be replaced. He had everything he needed on the truck so he did everything while he was here. He even patiently explained how everything works. He is a fine unique guy.
