They came when a tree fell on my neighbor’s house , and my car , and slightly damaged my house. They told my wife that there was a hole in my roof and it need a tarp and that they also perform emergency tasks such as installing tarps. When I got home and looked at the damage there was no hole in my roof . The edge shingle was damaged , one shingle nothing that should have involved this company One shingle . They installed the tarp using no less than 75 nails penetrating my 6 month old roof. They tried to charge 500 for doing so. They returned weeks later to remove debris for my neighbor. I let them use my driveway. The front end loader they used had severe oil leak. When I commented about the leak the employee . My driveway now has a massive oil stain trailing back and forth tracing the route that they used.I have called numerous times and sent 10 text messages . They won’t discuss this issue with me.

I allowed this company to park in my driveway so they could cut down my neighbors tree. Instead of parking in my driveway they drove all their vehicles into my back yard for a joy ride destroying my private property, including a minivan. They did thousands of dollars worth of damage. Jonathan was rude and condescending offering 75 dollars to repair thousands of dollars in damage. Never ever use this company. They are dishonest and refuse to honor their word !!! I will be suing this company and I am trying to get their license revoked in the state of Maryland. Who drives on someon else's private property, destroys their private property then goes..here's 75 dollars ??? Horrible horrible company

They were extremely good. It was much cheaper than anyone else. They did a great job.

They performed the work very quickly and in a professional manor, with expertise, and left no debris behind. They cleaned up my yard, they alley, and the neighbors yard on both sides. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Brian Palmer was awesome.  This recommendation came to us from other friends who said this company was the best price.  This was by far the best price we got for the work we wanted done, some other companies (from Angie's list) were going to charge us two and three times what Brian did.  The original day we had scheduled was rainy and miserable, they came the following day.  They were very diligent and the job was done in one day.  We have a great big pile of mulch to use around our yard and driveway.  We would highly recommend them, and definitely use them again in the future.

When I got the original estimate from Anderson Tree everything was great. I put in a request on their website and I was contacted quickly. The estimator Steve stopped by my property when I wasn't there, but was able to give me a good estimate. I spoke to him over the phone and he was very personable and I immediately felt comfortable with using this company. I wasn't able to do the work immediately and called a couple of weeks later to schedule the project. A second estimator Brian came out to look at my property as I had some changes to make to my original estimate. He was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to help us. Scheduling was a little dicey mostly due to issues with trying to have my neighbor's tree removed.
The job itself went fine. I was mostly satisfied with the work. I felt that the holly bush should have been trimmed more and that it ended up a bit lumpy and misshapen, and still much too large. I do not know how deep stumps are normally ground but I felt that a lot of stump was still left in the ground after grinding. The bush removal was good and complete. The crew did not take the wood pile when they left and said they would be back within a few days. I spoke to Brian and he said he would call around and find someone to come pick up the wood and let me know when it would be gone. I had other work scheduled on my property so I needed it gone asap. He never got back to me and so the day before the work was supposed to be done on my property I called Brian in a panic because I needed the wood gone. As usual he was friendly and helpful and told me someone would be out the following day to remove the wood, which they were. At this point I probably would have rated them a "B."
After the job was completed, my experience went down hill drastically. I wasn't contacted about paying for the project for several weeks. There was some hope that my neighbor would finally agree to let us remove the down dead tree from her yard, but unfortunately it did not work out. In hindsight I should have gotten a written estimate for the job with her tree and one without her tree - BEFORE they did the work. I had agreed to pay $1050 for everything, and when we weren't able to include the neighbor's tree they dropped the price to $250. This seemed okay to me - I had gotten other estimates for the tree removal and they had been between $300-$600, mostly around $400. Even though $250 was low for the tree, their prices seemed generally in line with the lower estimates I had gotten overall. So I asked for a written estimate for the down tree removal for the $250. Basically I wanted proof that they would in fact do the job for $250 should my neighbor ever come to her senses. I also wanted to give the estimate to her so that she could have the work done when it works with her issues. However, at this point Anderson Tree Experts completely stopped returning my emails. I sent 2 or 3 seperate emails, 1 message through the Anderson Tree website, and even 1 here through Angies List. NO response. I was holding off on paying them until I heard from them but finally gave in and sent the check last week just be finished with them. Of course they had no problem cashing the check in a timely manner! But return my emails? Nope. I don't know what happened with this company, I was set to be pretty happy with them and I really liked both Steve and Brian but I just felt it was extremely unprofessional to ignore my requests after the job was done. I do feel bad to give such a bad review but I am fed up and tired of waiting. Perhaps others will have better luck with this company in the communication department.

HEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEBLE. THEY TRIMMED THE TREES OF A LOT OF BAD BRANCHES AND CLEANED THE DEBRIS TO PERFECTION. THE TWO ISSUES I HAD WERE VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THEM TO FOLLOW UP WITH RETURN PHONE CALLS AND EQUALLY OR EVEN MORE IMPORTANT THERE WAS NO SHAPING OF THE OUTER BRANCHES. THE TREES LOOK SCRAGALLY AND WILD. TRIMMERS INTHE PAST TOOK CARE TO MAKE MY YARD LOOK WELL KEPT. I WORK H****** MY LANDSCAPING. EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE RATED VERY HIGH ON ANGIE'S LIST, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE BEEN DISAPPOINTED WITH A CONTRACTOR FROM THE LIST. I DOUBT I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

This was my second experience with Anderson and it was as great as my first! Punctual, friendly, efficient ... and the results were ideal. Will use again!

Steve and his crew are amazing! Not only was the price very reasonable, they were communicative and very professional. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. I would absolutely use them again (I am planning on doing so this Fall) and I highly recommend them.

A great experiencewith very professional workers!

This is the second time that we used this company. Steve and his crew do a nice job and clean everything up. He will make suggestions and is knowledgable about foliage. The price is reasonable in my opinion.

They did a professional job. The ground up the stumps and removed all debris. They showed up on time. They were professional. I added some last minute items while they were here and they did the additional work.

We used Anderson once before to remove two much smaller trees from a more accessible area around our house. They were reasonable, polite and did good work, and they completed the job when promised. As a result, we asked them to do this second job. Once again, we were happy with their work. We also found the pricing fair, since we had a second estimate from another reputable tree service, which was more expensive.
