Excellent service, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Daryl Hanson did an outstanding job - even leveled a toilet in our powder room that had been installed by another plumber. At last we have found the plumber we have been looking for over the years. Thank you Rice Pumbing & Heating!!!

He changed the disposal out with a new Badger 1/2 hp, and noticed the high loop was not hung properly and fixed that too. Then the leaky faucet cartridge was not accessible due to corrosion, but he tightened it, and the leak stopped! He said it may not last all that long, but i was happy the leaking stopped for now. Best thing was he was talkative and communicated what he was doing and explained in detail which I like.

I have copper pipes and we'll water my grandson pulled the facuet to turn on theshower and pull the fixtures out the wall.

The job was completed in good order and with minimal disruption of my other activities. Since I use a cane I had a younger friend come over to help Jeff with moving the water heaters up and down the basement steps. That went without a hitch and with no damage to anything — walls, floors, etc. Some water spillage is inevitable when replacing a water heater but it was kept to a minimum and cleaned up right away.
Rice Plumbing is a small operation and does not normally offer weekend service. Since I discovered the leaking water heater on a Friday evening and a major snow storm was due to start that Sunday evening, Jeff agreed to replace the heater early on Sunday — for which I am very grateful. I was not looking forward to being snowed in with no hot water.
Since this was an emergency I did not ask for an estimate before Jeff started so I really shouldn't complain about the cost — it is what it is. It was a bit higher than I was expecting but I was really just guessing at a number. Since Jeff saved my bacon by doing an emergency job to insure I had hot water during the storm, I have no complaints whatsoever. I would hire Rice Plumbing for future plumbing work without hesitation.

They came and replaced it the same day. They came when they said, they would come and were responsive in contacting us because we had to be away from home that day.
