My inspection was conducted by Aaron for a pre-offer home inspection. He arrived on time, was kind and introduced himself. Prior to starting, he explained the process of how he would be conducting the my inspection which made me feel comfortable of his knowledge and only validated his 30 years of experience. He was professional, very detailed and patient in answering my questions. I was equally impressed with the comprehensive report that I received that included photos. I would certainly utilize Aaron’s services again and recommend his company to others.

Aaron and Cliff were very professional, and gave a very thorough report. As a first time home buyer it was very important for me to understand the home inspection process. Aaron made me feel comfortable and was very detailed when answering my questions. The process was extremely easy to follow. If you want your home inspection done right give Cliff and Aaron a call.

Very well, They were prompt, attentive to details, and explained concerns as they found them.

Very thorough!! They sent 2 gentleman out (two sets of eyes) and they covered every inch of our home. We were worried and they took all worry away. They showed us all the improvements the previous owner made. Explained the code and safety and took the extra time to show us how we could switch the gas to electric stove

The inspector Chris Risby from Termite and Home Inspection Co.,  started off by showing me the roof. He pointed to two shingles but stated that I had nothing to worry for some time. I was concerned but he insisted that I had nothing to worry about. We continued the inspection and there was a large amount of water leaking from the dishwasher to the down stairs bedroom. This caused me to have further concern on the roof and I kept asking questions. 

 I provided him with a ladder for the attic. He asked me to look at it from the ladder which I did. He then gets on the ladder and takes three quick pictures. I am surprised he is not doing a thorough inspection of the attic and bring up my concerns. He insists and takes me outside stating that I was over worrying. He gives me the binoculars and says that other than the two shingles the roof is in good condition.  

Although he verbally insists there is no problem he writes on the report ?recommend further inspection of the roof?. He does this to cover himself. Since I had insisted and he came recommended I was not concerned, I was convinced I had covered my bases. However, I later realized (see below) I was dealing with someone of little integrity. He appeared to be a ?nice guy? but not thorough in his inspection.  He showed lack of integrity when he did the minimal work.  

Several months later I ask him to come fix the valve from the dishwasher (he offered at the inspection).  I point out the water bubble and the damage to the ceiling inside the closet. He says nothing in reply initially but then says ?whatever they tell you, you don?t need a new roof?.  However, how would you know when you never inspected the roof nor the attic? 

 I would not recommend this guy. He showed me in his work he is interested in doing as little as possible but also that he may not be as educated in doing a thorough inspection of the home.

They are very prompt. They call when they are on their way. They are efficient and I have found them to be clean. They don't come in your house with dirty or muddy shoes. They inspect inside and outside on the lower floors, because that's where you're going to have something coming in. There was a hornet's nest in the shrubbery outside my house and it had nothing to do with getting in the house, so I called him up and asked if he could come out. Did did it for free and I didn't have any problems with the hornets.  These hornets were fierce looking. They are great. I use them every year.

They gave me a good deal. I only pay for home inspection and the termite inspection is free. I was impressed. They were professional. They were thorough and answered all my questions. They were not like instructors; they were more or less like friends explaining something to you. I would use them in the future.

 

Certified performed a Termite and Home Inspection on a new home we are considering purchasing. CHTI offers free Termite Inspection with a Home inspection, but I initially only wanted the termite inspection. I called on a Friday, but could not confirm the time that my agent would be available before their office closed. On Saturday morning I called CHTI and left a hopeful message on their answering machine. After about half an hour, Cliff called me back and immediately came out to the property to do the inspection. A couple of days later, I decided to go for the full home inspection, and because I had already had the termite inspection, they knocked down the price on the home inspection by the amount of the completed termite inspection. You don't find service and consideration like that too often these days. When I scheduled the home inspection, I had to call on the day of and reschedule. Lydia was very nice and understanding. The H.I. was scheduled for the next day and went off without a hitch. Chris did the inspection and a wonderful job at that. He emailed the full report to me the next night. The report was comprehensive and complete with color photos with arrows directing us to the items we needed to take see. Thanks CHTI for being some of the good guys and gals in the business. I would happily recommend you to anyone I know who is looking to purchase a house and needs a home inspection.
