Knob was broken off of washer during transit. AA Dependable was contacted. Unit was not hooked up. Technician came out and stated a new mother board was needed along with the knob. How he knew a motherboard was needed without unit having electric as it was stored in a garage, is concerning. 1 year prior AA Dependable had just replaced the motherboard. After the technician left I discovered that the washers menu display was missing. This is an internal part, that only the technician had access to. I contacted AA Dependable to complain, and was told that it was my fault and that the invoice was signed off on so they would have to start service over. After 7 phone calls to AA Dependable, I finally had a team of AA Dependable technician come look at the washer. Another service fee! After they left they telephoned to say that a new piece was needed to replace the menu. $300! So I tried to contact a manager (Crystal) and left 5 message with the staff. No one returned my call.
Today, I finally got in touch with Crystal, who stated that "I'm tired of you calling!, I told you that you broke the machine!" All I did was say hello... Crystal begin raising her voice and yelling that they did nothing wrong. I asked her why she was yelling at me... I told her all i wanted to do was purchase the new part and have installed. Crystal put me on hold for 9 mins. When she came back she said they wouldnt fix the part.
WARNING: If after reading this, you waste your time using AA Dependable, 1. You have too much money 2. You get what you deserve with AA (UN) Dependable.

I called around to try and get service on my Maytag washing machine and AA was the only one I found that did service Maytag. I called early Thursday and the first time they could fit me in was Monday morning. Not a great response time, but what choice did i have. The technician was prompt and polite. He quickly removed the panel and informed me the belt had just popped off the pulley. He quickly put it back on and gave it a test run. Total service time 5-10mins. On the call I was told the service call would be $79, plus any parts and labor to install parts. To my surprise, i was charged an additional $50 for labor. Before I could ask he told me he had to charge my the same labor as if he replaced the belt. I dont understand this, if I didnt need any additional parts and the total time spent at my home was less than 10mins, why am I being charged an additional $50? If I needed a new belt or there was considerable time spent I could see some type of justification but I dont believe I was treated fairly or that the company was trust worthy and upfront about what I would be charged. I unfortunately cant recommend a company that appears they are trying to find ways to increase your bill.

The technician was very professional. Called me in advance; identified problem and fixed it! Just what I was looking for...also I have LG appliances and it is not easy to find someone who works on them.

I would not recommend this business whatsoever. On April 28th they came out to diagnose the problem with washer machine and on three different occasions they ordered the wrong part. Today the 11th of May they called us again to let us know that they ordered the wrong part and could not fix it today. Two weeks of having no washer machine because we were waiting for them is unacceptable. We are extremely upset that this process has taken so long and that they charged us for an original diagnostic but have yet to fix the problem. I would call them extremely unprofessional.

OUTSTANDING! Came out to our house in a wonderfully snowy day...he went the extra for us and punctual. Very professional, identified the problem immediately, wrote a very detailed repair. This is a unique repair estimate because my house was damaged because of the washing machine. The expert from AA Dependable Appliance listened to what happened and wrote a clear and concise estimate. In fact, my insurance company used the estimate with no questions. I will call next time!!

I called on a Monday. They came out the next day. They gave me a 2 hour window. They actually arrived an hour early but called first. Repairman had the heater element replaced in less than one hour. Charged about $260 which I thought was reasonable.

Never showed up to make and finish final repair of service. No calls and did not answer calls after the time frame to do the work. Also charged and additional charge for coming out on Saturday to do work. Would not recommend company to anyone.

The technican arrived on time and immediately diagnosed the problems. Once I gave consent to have the repairs done, both appliances were working in no time at all. He was very professional and explained exactly what needed to be done. I would definitely call AA Dependable again if I need any appliance serviced.

The technician (kevin) was very courteous and patient. He had to take apart the drain assembly to diagnose the problem which he believed was drain blockage - and he was correct. Unfortunately, the main screw was stripped, and he had to be quite inventive to convert a Phillips Head Screw into a slot screw. It proved to be a messy and time consuming repair. I believe their price was very fair considering the work involved.

Refrigerator wasn't working correctly in
my rental condo. I called the company because of the good reviews on Angie's.
Prompt response but poor diagnosis and outcome. Technician
determined a new timer and thermostat were needed. Total for all (service
call was $79 despite the dispatcher saying she'd credit me for $10 coupon I
mentioned seeing on their website (service call should have been $69) plus
$184 in parts and labor = $263. However, refrigerator never got
cold. Called company and they promptly followed up but the technician
determined the problem must now be a Freon leak and would require a Freon
technician diagnosis/repair which I was told "usually" runs $275 to $350.
I explained that when we called for the service there was a large block
of ice in the freezer; the Freon was obviously in the system and working at that time.
Bottom line is they didn't really know what the problem was and expected me to keep paying until they figured it out.
I questioned whether I had paid for parts (timer and thermostat) that I
didn't need and I was assured those parts we indeed bad. I asked if I
could see the parts and they said they don't have them. I asked about
their 30 day warranty for parts and services and was told they did provide
appropriate parts and services so, essentially, "too bad." I
passed on the Freon assessment/fix follow-up and opted to just buy a new
refrigerator (hauling off the $184 new timer and thermostat they wouldn’t take
back or compensate me for). No use spending good money chasing bad. Needless to say, I won't be using this
company again.

It was a Saturday when I called the company and they initially mentioned that they didn't have any techs in my area that day but the person I spoke with said that she would see if she could get a tech to come in. She called back minutes later and said that she was able to get a tech and provided an estimated time. I provided symptoms of the problem and she said she would pass the info along to the tech and that they carry parts to address common problems. The tech called to give me an estimated time of arrival and arrived in the estimated frame. He explained what had happed with the icemaker and that it had to be replaced. The job was done quickly and neatly. I can't really say how competitive the price was since I wanted to get the problem resolved quickly and only called one other company (included in Angie's List) that turned out to be closed on Saturday.

After determining the reason that the water despenser in the door was operating under low pressure a part was ordered. On the scheduled return visit the part was replaced. I would recomend this company for all of your large appliance repairs.

Workers arrived punctually. I told them I had a deadline because I had to go pick someone up. They were done well ahead of the deadline. Work was done fast and efficiently, and workers were kind and courteous.

The company quickly responded to our call, providing a tech the same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem, supplied us with a quote and when the replacement parts would be in. He also provided tips on improving dryer usage to extend the lifetime. Very professional company. They even followed up with a phone call to make sure all was well. Lastly, they provided a detailed description of the damage to the moving company so we could be reimbursed.

This service on my side by side refrigerator was performed by AA Dependable Appliance Service thru my warranty company, American Home Shield. Therefore, I only had to pay a flat $60 as required by my warranty contract. The technician was on time and immediately knew what the problem was (burned out computer), He took all of 15-20 minutes to fix the problem. While behind the refrigerater he swept up the dirt for me. I really appreciated this extra service as I suffer with back problems and it would have been difficult for me to move the refigerator and clean behind it later.
This is a great company because of their customer service, dependability and knowledgeable technicians. I will definitely use them again.

They have really been good. They salvaged my washer twice and it is still working to this day and it's about 18 years old. They were prompt and on time. They were inexpensive and fixed the problem.

I had two refrigerators that had issues, one was an icemaker , the other would not cool in the refrigerator section although the freezer was fine. The first technician surveyed both machines, fixed one immediately and had to order parts for the other.
The quick response, professional knowledge and attitude was outstanding. I would recommend these people to anyone, they were great, quick, professional and courteous!

People at AA Dependable Appliance Service Company are very good. They are prompt. They are professional. The technician diagnosed the problem within a minute and corrected it. He was very knowledgeable. He did a great job correcting the problem. Also, the technician already had the part with him when he came out for the service. I was very impressed with that because the machine I have is ten years old. The office person I spoke with to set up the appointment was very good too. They were booked for the entire week. However, they put me right in when they had a cancellation. They made sure that I got help as soon as possible. They were fantastic. I would use them again in the future.
