SPICE ISLANDS WICKER

We recently ordered a dinning set from Spice Islands Wicker website. At the time of ordering by phone we were not informed that the product would be delivered by a 3rd party. After waiting at least a month for the product to come in, we received a phone call from a trucking company informing us that another trucking company would deliver the set. They told us there was no way that we could receive a courtesy phone call of when the delivery would be made without a surcharge. That in itself was outrageous. When the set finally arrived the entire load was unceremoniously dumped in the room. This also was outrageous and shocking. Our expectation was that the delivery would include the customary unwrapping and removal of boxing material. Instead, they left it to us to unpack and dispose of an enormous amount of shipping material. The methods of transportation that Spiced Islands Wicker chose to employ are absolutely dreadful. Note the word METHODS. A worse job of moving the products I cannot imagine. As a company they became an intolerable nuisance to every member of this household. I will not be doing business with them again. I hope that this post will alert potential customers to stay away from Spice Islands Wicker. The furniture is first rate but the delivery is shabby.
