Kelly's Tree Service and Landscaping

Had a sister-ed pair of trees that needed to come down that were very close to structures. Kelly's Tree and Lawn Service provided the best price estimate. Showed up on time, worked very efficiently and did an outstanding job in record time. Removed wood, stump and debris. VERY PROFESSIONAL - HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kelly's Tree and Lawn Service!!!

Arrived on time with a large crew, went right to work and finished quickly.  Cleaned up and left.  Perfect for what I wanted done.

I gave them a B for price because it was essentially very close to other quotes I received... fair but not something that stood out.

Great service!  It was estimated to take all day but they had it done within a few hours.  There were two trees (approx 70' tall) with a lot of branches too.  They were very efficient in cutting the tree and not damaging anything.  One was close to the house and they were very mindful of not damaging the house or asphalt driveway.  
They cut the branches and stacked the neatly and better than I had even asked.  They also cut the trunk into 6' - 8' sections and ground the stumps.
We were very happy with the service, professionalism, and efficiency of their work.  We've already planned to have them remove a couple more trees early next year.

Provider never called back

This is the second time I have used Kelly's Tree Service to clear a wooded area around the property.  I have found their prices to be fair.  I was provided with an in-person quote.  They arrived when expected and promptly completed the work.  The wooded area has deep gullys and hills and they were able to do a very good job.  I will continue to use their services for this and possibly other landscaping work.

They did a good job. Only issue we had with them was when we originally scheduled for one of the guys to come out and look at the site he didn't show up, but the service was fine.

We called Kelly's and another tree service to estimate removal of a large red oak tree and several bushes. The second estimate came in much higher and required repeated calls to get the provider to come out. Although we opted not to take the tree down at this time, we did hire Kelly's to remove the overgrown bushes against and around the house. They also picked up and cleaned around the yard and mowed it.
To keep this short, we must have caught Kelly's crew on a good day. They not only showed up on schedule, but did a great job and even replanted a few quality bushes we pulled out.

We will be calling them first for any future yard work and tree removal needs.

All of the workers were all friendly. They're efficient and quite well.

The work went very well. Services started on time and the crew was very organized and worked very hard as a well trained team. They did a little extra items without any questions. They cleaned up the yard very nicely. I was very pleased with their work and would and will use them again.

We were very pleased with the owner and the efficiency of his staff. Kelly came by and gave us an estimate and then did the work as soon as we returned from vacation.

I had received other estimates that were $5,000 and above. They removed the tree as well as all debris. They cleaned up beautifully.

igned contract and gave 50% deposit on September 17, 2011. Was told then it might be 3 1/2 weeks before they could get to the work. Called several times and asked when work might be scheduled. Calls were not returned. Finally did get a return call and was told work would be done last week in October. Work crew did not show up that week. I called on Friday to cancel job, but was told it was on the schedule for Wednesday, November 2. Crew showed up on that day and did a very professional, careful job of cutting down the large maple tree. I told the onsite foreman that the contract also called for removal of the additional two pine trees. Crew returned on Thursday, November 3 to complete cutting and removing maple tree trunk. Foreman told me "boss said only maple was covered" to be removed. I showed foreman contract in Mr. Kelly's handwriting that called for removal of all three trees. I then called Mr. Kelly Thursday evening. He said the job was only the maple. I read him the contract language in his own handwriting. I checked my credit card that same evening and discovered I had already been charged for completion of the job although the split rail fence taken down before removal of the maple tree had not been reassembled and the two pine trees had not been cut and removed. I called my credit card company and put a stop on the payment. Did not hear back from Mr. Kelly, but the crew returned on Friday, November 4, reassembled the split rail fence and cut and removed the remaining two pine trees. I then removed the stop on the final payment. Bottom line is that the actual tree removal work was done very professionally, but customer relations were horrible. Final straw was my wheelbarrow had been used without asking me first and when I went to put it away the tire was off the rim and flat.

It is now November 3rd, about 63 days since my last call and still haven't heard anything from them.

Guess they really had a lot of folks ahead of me or they work really, really slow.

I will not recommend this company to anyone.

They did a good job, but we found out later that we could have got it done cheaper. They were on the higher side than we thought. We thought it was okay, but we found out that we could have had it done cheaper. Our next door neighbor had them cut down a tree, and he hadn't been happy with them. He used somebody else to cut another tree down. He is much happier with them because their price was cheaper. We were happy, but we will go to someone else next time.

It was not a huge tree. They were local people. They were very pleasant to deal with. The association landscaper was triple that of Kelly’s so I called many landscapers and my neighbours recommended Kelly's Tree Service and Landscaping for removing small trees from their town houses. They did a great job. I would use them in the future.

The job went great. Mr. Kelly came out reviewed the property and what would need to be done. He diagramed everything for me and went over each step. The work began the following week. His staff was very professional. They worked everyday for 2 1/2 days, during that time they never left any trash and everything was stored and cleaned up for the next day. On the final day of the job, Mr. Kelly came out and went over the patio making sure that everything was in order. We both went over the work that was done and that I was completely satisfied. I now have a beautiful patio with a fire pit. I could not have asked for more, but I am sure if I did they would have been able to accommodate it.
