+ 0 moreThe company took 4 months to address a serious rodent issue, and when I pleaded with them to fix the issue, as per the lease agreement, they denied responsibility and slandered my name to their vendors. The vendors were reluctant to fix the issues because of their negative comments. I wrote emails, put in work orders, I even had to resort to getting an attorney. Cody Bishop was extremely unprofessional to me and basically told me, we are only treating the house (their property), as a “one time” courtesy. I will never rent with this company again and I would not recommend them. Several others have had similar issues. I’ve attached photos of the mice droppings, but to them, I am making this problem up and it’s probably just one mice I’m complaining about.

Description of Work: Tidewater was supposed to be managing our Crofton townhome. Instead they allowed the tenant to break the lease in violation of the terms of the contract and then provided multiple stories as to why. They were unable to rent the property after four months and what seemed like minimal effort trying. Tidewater posted old pictures of the property online that did not reflect the actual condition of the property, showing the condo in a state of renovation. New property managers rented the property almost immediately. In addition, Tidewater continued to collect management fees when unoccupied and without showing the property. The property had been rented for over 13 years straight without a lost months rent until Tidewater took over the property management (as a result of a business buyout). I can't think of any positive experiences we've had with this company or even a single reason to recommend them.
