The Housewright Company
About us
In general, we remodel any existing room in the house ie, Kitchen, Bathrooms, Basement. We also build additions, porches, decks. Specifically, we do all carpentry, cabinet installation, door installation, ceramic tiling, small to medium drywalling, and a myriad of repairs. I perform my own work with the full-time assistance of an experienced helper. On larger jobs, such as an addition, there are 3-4 of us. I subcontract out electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and some specialty trades. Large drywall jobs are not offered unless they are part of a remodeling job we are doing. I have been licensed by the MHIC (MHIC #18026) since 1982 when I started my remodeling business. We show the utmost respect for our clients by delivering top-notch work in a professional and safe manner. We usually perform work for a fixed price, as most clients prefer knowing the cost ahead of time. However, we are willing to work on a time and materials basis. I accept checks or cash. Credit card users must notify me before the estimate. DBA - The Housewright Co. Additional email - [email protected].

My only reluctance to writing this glowing recommendation of The Housewright Co., is that when word gets out how good they are - they will be less available to me when I need them.
They arrived right on time as promised. Workers were courteous, neat, and very careful while working in my living room. Mr. Garbis was there to supervise all of the work. Everything went fine and so far, no leaks. I will definitely call them again.
