They responded to our request for cleaning and sent a reminder a couple days ahead of the scheduled dayl
They did clean some things well like the hardwood floors.
The not so good:
They were late. One cleaner showed up 15 minutes late and the other was over 45 minutes late.
A detailed list was given to them of what needed cleaning. They missed or didn't clean two of those items.
They didn't clean the kitchen table, or the stainless steel trash can.
The grout area at the base of the shower wasn't cleaned well. There was still some reddish mildew present that I was able to easily wipe off with a cloth and soft scrub.
Part of the problem was that I work out of the home and didn't do a complete walkthrough of their cleaning job when they were done as I was busy. Still one shouldn't have to do that if the cleaners are good. Maybe other Angieslist customers aren't as picky as us? The company was highly rated.
We had worse but not by much. Hope to do better next time we pick a cleaner.
cleaned--e.g. behind the family room sofa and lounge chair, dusting blinds, fully vacuuming under our king size bed--either because their insurance did not cover movement of furniture, they did not have a vacuum that could fit under low spaces, or there simply was not enough time. I even submitted a list of "extra" items to clean at an additional time at their convenience, but there was no indication from Kathy Fuka that this could ever be accomplished. This situation eventually became quite bothersome, as it seemed my home could never be completely cleaned by this cleaning team.
Another issue was the cost of the service. Initially, I was quoted a price of $200, which was based on agreed upon areas to be cleaned. At the outset, the cleaning seemed torequire about 4-5 hours. After a several cleaning sessions, the time spent cleaning decreased. I then received a call, that I was being charged one of the highest rates and my fee was reduced to $125. Even so, some sessions were completed in 2 hours--I was paying $62.50/hour! Despite my complaint that more time could be spent doing more tasks, it was difficult to add even small areas, e.g. cabinets, for cleaning.
At the outset Kathy Fuka and I agreed on a cleaning day and arrival time. On the final visit the cleaning team showed up one and one-half hours after our agreed upon arrival time, with the excuse that they had 4 other houses to clean and were running late. I phoned Kathy Fuka who indicated that she could not guarantee an arrival time with the number of houses on the day's schedule.
Overall, it appeared that the company had over scheduled and our original understanding on arrival time was not a priority. However the inability to accommodate our original agreement was never communicated to me.
A few days after my upset about the late arrival time of the staff, I received an email from Kathy noting that she was discontinuing her service for our home since her techs had complained I had been disrespectful. She never sought any dialogue or resolution with me. Although Kathy reaches quick judgments and can be brusque, she had always been reasonable and friendly. Thus, I was
surprised with the unprofessional, one-way termination of her services.
In summary, the cleaning was incomplete, the cost for the service provided was too high, plus the number of qualified cleaners on the staff appears to be quite limited.
Jeff & Kathy are great to work with.. on time, efficient, communicative, responsive, reasonably priced..
They have been my bi-monthly cleaning service for more then a year.. on time every time..! good job every time..!
They accidentally knocked down a towel rack and are repairing it at their
expense and time..
I would be comfortable recommending them to anyone..

This is the second time I have used this company. Last year on a moving out cleaning of an apartment. The service was good then and still is good today. I always ask if Kathy has to get to another job after mine, that way every ones expectations are met. Turns out they had to leave to get to the next client on time. Kathy offered to come back and finish some odds and ends. That worked for both of us.
Again, I can't emphasize the importance of communicating exactly what you are looking for with your cleaning services.

y appointment made as we wished. Service providers arrived promptly, did excellent job , were friendly, were careful of household possessions when cleaning. Finished within estimated time frame. Price was reasonable for service provided.
We have since contracted them to do monthly cleaning for our home and we are very happy with their service.
My husband and I are both Veterans and both have medical concerns that currently preclude us from being able to clean our home in a way that is safe for us and our recovery. After a very nice informational interview with Jeff and Kathy, who are very personable and sociable people, they contacted us to inform us of a program called "Cleaning for Hero's" that discounts the price of cleanings for 4 months. They assisted us through the application process and again went above and beyond and extended the discounts for us. These discounts are provided by them and are completely voluntary.
I can't emphasize enough how great Jeff and Kathy are and how they've made us feel at ease while cleaning our home. We were apprehensive at first to have "strangers" in our home to clean; especially while we are home. They, and their employees have all been very kind, courteous and are VERY hard workers. Even the young girl that was working during the summer...which is a testament to them as employers and business owners. That just goes to show what a great service they provide.
