JOHN BEASLEY FURNITURE REPAIR SPECIALIST

John took all the items in his van. I went to his home to pick out the fabrics. In a few weeks he returned the repaired items to my home. The only problem was with the new caning on the chairs. It didn't match the others chairs which had previously been recaned by someone else. John took those 4 chairs back with him, along with one of the previously recaned ones and completely recaned them to match the others.

Although Mr. Beasley was almost two hours late, he did a good job repairing it and charged less than he had estimated because it was a simpler job than he had originally estimated. He also kept telling me to call him if I had future problems. While the fix ended up being relatively simple, previous estimates were a lot higher.

My only complaint is that mr Beasley didn't update his answering service while he was having hip surgey. I almost didn't continue trying to reach him. However, once we did make contact, his response was swift. The work was very good and quickly completed, which I appreciated as I was expectin house guests in a short time. The two men who moved the pieces were very careful with them.

He arrived for his estimate on time and then called and delivered the work when it was finished.

I thought the price was extremely reasonable and the workmanship was excellent. Included in the price were three trips to my house (estimate, pickup and delivery). I live in Sparks and typically pay at least a $70 minimum transport fee for service or deliveries. Prior to each visit, Mr. Beasley gave me an estimated time of arrival and called again when he was 15-20 minutes from my house. Mr. Beasley was slow to submit his bid. He told me I would have the bid on Monday and it was Thursday before he called. He picked up the couch the following Monday and estimated that he would complete the work by Friday. He delivered the following Monday. Based on the nature of the job, I thought this was excellent - I had anticipated much longer. I was very comfortable working with him and will certainly call him again.

DOES EXCELLENT WORK. I HAD MANY DINGS, DENTS AND SCRATCHES ON A CHERRY CHINA CABINET, WHERE A SHELF HAD FALLEN OUT AND DAMAGED IT. MR. BEASLEY SANDED AND REPAIRED THE CABINET SO WELL, THAT YOU CANNOT EVEN TELL WHERE IT WAS DAMAGED. PRICE NOT CHEAP, BUT COMPETITIVE
