When I called the office staff was excellent. They called me back and told me when someone would be coming over. The representative showed up on time and did the job with no problems. I would recommend them to anybody. They were prompt and responsive.

The locksmith was supposed to be here at 9am.  The receptionist called at 8 to tell me he was on his way from Rosedale (I'm in Columbia), and would be here by 9.  at 9:15 I called to see where he was.  The lady gave me a major attitude and told me he'd be there "shortly."  At 9:45 I called AGAIN to see where he was, and was given the same attitude. I was told that the locksmith got "held up," and was rudely asked if I wanted to keep the appointment, because otherwise he would simply go to the next one.  She told me she didn't want to waste my time or his if I wasn't going to be home.  I told them to come anyway because I needed it done, and had already changed around my morning schedule.
When the guy finally got here around 10:15, he was extremely rude as well.  He did not introduce himself, or apologize for being for being late.  He simply walked in to do his job.  At the end of the service, I asked if they could do something about the price for the inconvenience.  The guy (still don't know his name) looked at me dumfounded and told me he was giving me a couple extra keys - and seemed visibly irritated that I would waste his time to ask for a 10% discount for the tardiness.  When I spoke with the lady at the company, she had the same attitude that I had dealt with from her all morning.  She finally agreed to take $10 off to make me "happy."
Overall, the service was horrendous.  I have hired several companies based on reviews from Angie's list, but I will NEVER use this company again.  I understand things happen, but if the tech was going to late, a courtesy phone call would've been nice.  I will also tell you that if I EVER spoke to a customer/client the way this lady spoke to me, I would expect to be fired.
Bottom line:  Go spend the extra $20-$30 on a company that actually cares about their customers, and that actually believes in the value of CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Last Friday afternoon while leaving our home to go to an event a friend was hosting I rushed out of the house without my keys. I locked the bottom lock from the inside and closed the door thinking I had my keys in my pocket.
I immediately called Elite Lock and Key. Sarah and her team are awesome. My call was answered right away and a locksmith was dispatched to our home. He arrived within the estimated time they provided and had our door open within 60 seconds (literally).
My family and I were able to go about our day and learned a valuable lesson in the process (lock your door from the outside with your keys). I would highly recommend Elite Lock & Key if you ever need a locksmith.

I had to evict a tenant, when the sheriff arrived, He suggested I call a locksmith to change the locks immediately.  I called
Elite Lock & Key. ( I got their number from Angies List.)  They told me someone would be there within 45 minutes.  35 minutes
later, there was Charlie from Elite Lock and Key.  He was courteous, helpful and professional.  I also got a 5% discount for being a

Seth showed up promptly with the keyless locks I had asked for, drilled out one old deadbolt that could not be opened, analyzed the other locks and everything went smoothly. It was a pleasure.

Nothing bugs me more than contractors who diss our neighborhood.  We bought here for a reason, the least you can do is keep your racist remarks to yourself--especially when we're supposed to pay you for a service.

Service was very good. He was personable and professional. I think the charge was a bit excessive. Next time, I would check prices elsewhere first.

I called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist said someone would be out today.  The repairman would call 15 minutes before he would get to my home.  About 10 minutes later, he called and was here a few minutes later.  He did not have the right color deadbolt (mine was nickel colored) and said he would get one at the shop and return.  He was back in under half an hour.  He installed the deadbolt and re-keyed the deadbolt to match the other doors in my home, so I can use my own key and use the same key for the two doors in my house.
I am very satisfied with the service.

I called a little after 5pm to ask if a lock on my door could be fixed and was told they'd send someone right over. The locksmith arrived in about 45 minutes, had the lock replaced in a few minutes. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

The job was done very well.    The new lock works perfectly.

On late notice, Elite Lock and Key came out and re-keyed my locks.  The technician was extremely professional and personable.  I would definitely use them again.

Elite lock was Awesome.I called when they opened at 8am, when I realized I had locked my only set of car keys in my mini-van. I explained that I had a doctors appointment and asked if they could come over ASAP.The technician arrived in less than 30 minutes, and had me unlocked immediately.I thought for such "URGENT" service $75 was a small price to pay.Definitely, would call them again!

Repairman arrived within the time frame on the first visit.  He first checked the basement door where he tightened screws and explained why the door was locking and the simple solution.  Next he tried to repair the lock on the entrance door.  After several tries it was determined the lock needed to be replaced.  After checking in his truck, he determined the part needed to be ordered.  We asked that he return the following Saturday.  On the second visit he actually arrived about 15 min. early, installed the lock and gave us futher instructions.  On both visits he was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
