I recently bought a house and wanted to create a master suite by moving some walls to create a walk through closet to a full bathroom. This area was previously a changing room with a walk-in through closet for another bedroom. He worked with me from paper concept to the installation of baseboard in creating the space that I wanted. Here were some things that really made the work a pleasure.
· He helped explain the standard dimensions needed for several aspects of the bathroom. When I started I had no idea how much space to save for a toilet or how high to install the bathroom mirror.
· He was willing to offer advice on material in the project explaining the advantages and disadvantages of shower floor material, which type of paint to use in a bathroom, the differences in ceramic and natural stone tile for the shower and for the floor, etc.
· He made me aware of the total cost in choices I made for the bathroom. For example, letting me know that the cost to purchase a glass shower door may only be a few hundred dollars at the store but the labor for installation will raise the cost significantly.
· He gave me the option to do take part in certain parts of the build. He let do some of the demolition of the old walls and ceiling before he took over to begin the build of the new area and again with the installation of drywall.
· He gave me the option to increase the scope of the project when they arose. Because the new area was going to be in the center of the house on the top floor and the ceiling was being removed, he told me that adding insulation during the project would be cheaper than adding it later. He also ran wiring for a ceiling fan in the bedroom while the electrician was at work with the new circuit.
· He was very personable and easy to talk with. He was often finishing up work when I got home from work and we often spent time talking. Very easy to talk to and always asked if I had any questions before he left for the day.
· He was extremely clean. As anybody who has had work done on their house knows it is nearly impossible to keep the “construction dust” away. With this in mind, he put up plastic walls and closed doors where possible to contain the working area. He also kept windows open to vent the area and always made sure to clean the job site before leaving for the day.

I would definitely recommend him to a friend and look forward to having him work on future projects.

Very prompt and reliable when requesting service. If he comes for service and does have all the parts, he leaves and returns with the parts. He is very professional and I would recommend him to others in the area for his services.
