I hired them for home renovation, and they did a great job. They were very respectful and understanding. When they were done everything turned out great!

My first experience with adding an addition went very well, thanks to Dwayne. You get an excellent quality product at an excellent price. Dwayne is very easy to work with and is flexible when you want to make changes. I would definitely recommend Val-U-Home.

The vast majority of the work was very nicely done. Vinyl tile on some rough and contoured concrete was a challenge. Several corners of vinyl tile were popping up due to the rough concrete and contours. His basic response to this was that he had done the best he could. Ultimately I had to research the solution; I used a heat gun to soften the tile so that it would take to the contour of the concrete vs. keep popping up. From a customer service perspective my frustration was one of communication (there were several scheduling mis-communications) and willingness to problem solve the tile. Final job looks good but frustrating process.

Dwayne and his brother were good to work with, friendly, on time, and accurate in budgeting.

Dwayne was exceptional in every step of the way when we built an in-law suite in our basement for my wife's father. Would recommend Val-U-Home to anyone needing a general contractor and his contacts for sub-work.

We are just delighted with our new garage! While the price was very competitive, the builder provided quality and attention to details throughout the structure. Best of all, every work crew he sent throughout the process was exceptionally well skilled, considerate, and kept the area very clean and safe. We were very pleased with this builder!!

We were extremely pleased with ValUHomes and would hav e the company again in a heartbeat. Every friend and neighbor that walks into our new kitchen/sunroom has one word to say - WOW. This contractor has a team of workers that are polite and extremely good at their work. They show up as scheduled, complete the work planned for the day and leave the job site clean and orderly. The president of the company is charming, honest and always pleasant even when we changed a few minor things that had already been decided. Larger changes that we initiated were agreed to by both partites regarding scope of work and cost and executed as planned.

Dwayne , the owner was on the job every day. Him and his crew kept every thing very clean as they worked. He was terrific to work with. I would use him again and reccomend him to my friends and business associates. He met or exceeded my expectations. He really enjoyed his work. I can not say enough good things about Dwayne and his company Valu Homes.

Kitchen build out and remodel. Great work--on time and on budget. Dwayne and his brother Derrick are awesome to work with and oversee every aspect of the job. Their subcontractors were always polite, clean, on time and most importantly they completed excellent work. Do not make a decision about a general contractor before you have spoken to Valuhomes!

I can not say enough about Dwayne and Valu Homes. He provided me with an extremely professional looking estimate which included very accurate and inspiring computer drawings. His work ethic is also incredible. He is honest and is very easy to work with. He is also a very good communicator and would love to work with him again in the future. I went with another contractor after getting several bids only because he was a friend of a friend. Dwaynes prices are very on target with the market and came in lower that the majority of my bids despite the fact that his quality of work can easilly command a higher price. A++++

Val-U-Homes, LLC met our expectations and did a great job at our new home, they renovated our home inside/out! They were very helpful, best price out of 4 contractors that we had to come in and bid, they were always willing to negotiate any changes and meet our budget. Good communication. Willing to work on/define projects that fit within my "pay as you go" budget. High quality workmanship. I really like the fact that the supervisor is always on site and part of the crew. Today, most of the company owners hire day workers and then pick up the pay check later! Not this company. They know their work, and they value quality.

Our experience in building an addition with Mr Uyeunten has been exemplary, with him overseeing a quality addition for a good price, allowing us to make whatever upgrades we were comfortable with. We have been offered a full range of choices of materials from his chosen suppliers and his subcontractors have all been friendly and helpful. When difficulties arise, they are quickly resolved or remedied. We definitely recommend him and his company.

They have far surpassed any expectation I had for this project. You can really tell they take pride in their work. They also are very creative and helpful on the design side. Their subs are excellent and professional. I really feel like they treated us like a valued customer, even on a small job. Especially after having experience with other contractors in the DC area. They were also very professional to work with. They will give you the best advice for you even if it doesn't benefit them directly. This is very rare to find today. I would recommend them to anyone. Just call them, don't even look futher.
